Dining at this restaurant is a delight – you won't be disappointed. Despite the waitress speaking only Spanish, the owner personally assisted my partner and me with the menu. His exceptional customer service matched the phenomenal food perfectly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and would strongly recommend him to consider opening a restaurant in Yuma!

La Malquerida isn't your typical restaurant the vibe is completely different from anything you've experienced before. The artistry is truly amazing, various ties to Hispanic culture from history and cinema. The food is absolutely amazing, they use top-tier meats and fresh toppings.La Malquerida isn't a taco shop it's an experience. They offer a wide variety of drinks and even host bands to entertain their guests.

I love finding new and exciting eateries and a friend recommended that I try La Malquerida in San Luis, Arizona. The restaurant lies on the city's north end on Cesar Chavez Street. Even as you enter the property you get a sense that this place is unique. The restaurant has a kids play area and rustic looking restrooms. The restaurant is surrounded by seating and both the exterior and interior is filled with Hispanic motifs depicting Mexico's history. The eatery is known for hosting bands and for their unique dishes. The service was amazing and the food was incredible. The recipes are tied to the families links to Sonora. They use blue corn to make one of their dishes which I've been dying to try and it was amazing. The City of San Luis is about a half hours drive from Yuma and La Malquerida is located just south of Cesar Chavez Boulevard. Believe me, it's well worth the visit.

Came in shortly after opening on a Friday. Ordered three Caguamas and a Norteno and El Torito. Service was top notch. Music that was playing was great on the jukebox which added to the ambiance. The inside is very welcoming and right up my alley, nice and open with many exits and entrances. Easy to navigate. I loved the decorations! The El Torito is a must try, amazing! 10/10 stars! The place is very nice, I liked the beer, and a dried meat that I ordered was very good. But what I didn't like were the leather tacos, oh fat, whatever you want to call it, that they served us ☹️ Our first time to see how it was, and it's not worth serving customers meat like that. We will not return, just there I ask you not to continue serving your customers meat like this.
