Excellent family owned bbq shop. The food is amazing. Definitely recommend the spicy coleslaw and the cornbread waffle. We tried the pulled chicken and it was awesome. Can't wait to go back for brisket! Call ahead for pick up orders.
I only wish this place was closer, but the 3 hour round-trip drive was well worth it! Get the meat sampler to try everything, and if you can narrow down a favorite (good luck, they're all amazing) do yourself a favor and order up a sandwich with mac and cheese. The cornbread waffle is savory sweet with just the right amount of caramelized crunch on the outside, and steamy soft and fluffy on the inside. If you still have room, finish off with the tastiest banana pudding this side of the Mississippi!

This place is amazing.. The atmosphere is down home family orientated.. Food is delicious. I had a pork sandwich, potato salad and the most amazing waffle with honey, that was awesome.. We even took three waffles home for breakfast.. It is well worth the drive. Probably the best barbecue that I have found in the east valley... Family owned in family run.So let's keep it in the family..

The owners take pride in their product. They are personable, friendly, it's like sitting down to dinner with family. The brisket available Fri & Sat is awesome. The Mac & Cheese is great. Missed the Banana Pudding due to eating multiple side dishes and the brisket, next time I will plan dessert ahead.

I stopped by here for the first time and I ordered a Pulled Pork Sandwich, I also ordered their Cole Slaw and both tasted delicious. The place is very cozy and almost feels like a home atmosphere, the people who were behind the counter were are also amazing and helped me with my food decision. I would definitely come back again the next time that I find my self in the area and try other options from their menu.

Firstly. This is NOT the other bbq place that was here before nor are they associated with them. I probably would have come sooner if I knew that.
2nd. my God, the best burnt ends I've ever had. It's very rare I involuntary hum and sway while I'm eating lol. The cornbread waffle I was a little hesitant about but again, it's a must have. I actually think next time I'll get it without sauce on it, it is really that good.
The staff/owners are so lovely and welcoming right away. real nice family environment but a little small, I'd say the size and the parking are the major downsides here but again them burnt ends are worth trekking thru a catus field. Just park around back and use the back entrance it's much easier

Just tried this place for the first time on my way home from Florence for work… Overall, it was very good however it was $17 for a quarter pound of brisket which is about two slices and a side of mac & cheese. I understand everything cost a lot of money and the prices of everything going through the roof because of his administration, but it just seemed a bit pricey for what I got. The food itself was pretty good and piping hot. The sauces are good. I just hate that I left hungry because I couldn’t afford to buy a bigger quantity of brisket to eat. I will definitely be back on my way through, the employee was very nice as well as the cook who said hello to me as I left, the atmosphere is nice. It is a very fixed up place inside playing country music with plenty of tables. Again, I know stuff is expensive nowadays, but I just wish I could’ve ordered more food
