Tried getting food here and was ignored by the cashier and other workers. Non of them said a word to me but looked right at me and saw me standing in the window. They weren't closed just didn't like me I guess? Awful.

The smell as you walk up let's you know this place is not playing. And the food somehow surpassed our expectations. I got the San Tanwich and my son got the pulled pork sandwich. As we waited for our food we tried the sauces and knew we were in for a treat. Staff is friendly and the dining area is exceptionally clean.

This is my favorite local spot, plus... I've been to a lot of bbqs places all over the US and all over the world. (Korea and Brazil are up there) but this place has some of the best bbq ive ever had. We're talking championship traveling bbqers. They have won a lot of competition all over the US, they have medals ? up in their tiny little hole in the wall place. I recommend eating there now, order anything. Me and my coworkers order the battleship for 4 of us and it's 200% worth it. It's a family owned place, it's very obvious the cashier is the daughter and her dad is the bbq master. My two favorites lately: The Piggy Mac (w/ side of blueberry bbq sauce, gotta ask for it) and the The Spicy Chicken Sammich that comes w/ 2 scorpion kisses (bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers soaked in bbq sauce).

Little hole in the wall place, tried the frito pie with the brisket and green Chile Mac which I would not get again (dry). Their banana pudding cheesecake though? Fire. If I tried this place again I'd probably stick with desert and maybe their meats with their bbq sauces.

The King of BBQ is Moonerl. I miss the blues music with my BBQ...blues and BBQ ...keep it blues . The food is second to none. I love this place.

Hubby brought home brisket from this BBQ joint down the road that tasted great, even cold! I stopped in to see what else was on the menu. The chicken taco is kickin'! Moist, tasty, topped with everything except cole slaw and dribbled with Mooner's spicy BBQ. An award-winning delight in the neighborhood - check it outParking: Two handicapped parking in front of the restaurant.

I have made Bbq ribs for hundreds of people. Believe me I know Bbq. This is the best Bbq i have had in Az.The smoke ring is present and the ribs have a subtle smoky flavor. It must be the Pecan wood. The brisket is moist and flavorful. Large portions and very reasonably priced. I will be back.
