This is my gf's favorite place, they used to be all over the valley, but eventually they all shut down, until the son started one in Santan. We were at a family gathering nearby, so we went there. They informed us, that they might close just before Thanksgiving. So she's going to want to go back before they do, and we live kind of far away. I tried the ham sandwich and the dessert scones, and they were great, I get why she loves it so much. The people are really nice and have great service. If you live in Santan, go check it out before it's gone, or try to support them to stay open. It's a very unique type of family food, worth saving. p.s. sorry I blew up your bathroom, but we ate a lot at the family gathering. :P

My husband and I found this place when we happened to be driving by and it sounded interesting? We went inside and they offered us free samples and they were yummy and so we tried the variety menu the first time. Our next time back, we mixed it up and tried a variety of the different items chicken sandwiches, cherry scones with different ice creams and we took different scones home to enjoy. When family from Canada came to visit guess where one of the first places they wanted to try... you guessed it. " The Golden Scone " I highly recommended it.

Definitely a GREAT family-owned business and wonderful food!The people in there treat you like family.Can't say enough about the food portions and prices.Both my wife and I can only eat half our meals the first time, and save the rest for another meal!The fries are definitely unique and tasty! Not soggy at all.Definitely support this local business when you're looking to save on cooking and treat yourself to a home-cooked meal.

My friends & I were visiting Queen Creek from Tucson. Found this on Google and decided to try it. Oh my! We were so glad we did! Excellent, friendly service. Delicious sandwiches and those double dipper fries were incredible. And of course we had to have the scone desserts and they were yummy. We all agreed we'd drive up here just to eat at Golden Scone... it's that good!

My daughter had heard about this place for a couple of years but never had the chance to come while she lived here. So since we are visiting we knew it was one of the places we had to visit. As soon as we walked in they offered us samples of the scones. (Fry bread) OMG! The best scones I have ever had! And I am an expert! I had a ham sandwich and she had turkey. Yum!!! And the fries are great! Kind of a mix of a steak fry and a potato chip. So good! And they have a bunch of different dips to choose from. We only had room for lunch not dessert. But we will be back for those later!

This place was awesome! Thanks to yelp and all the amazing reviews I wanted to try this place. After a hot day in the sun with our baseball team I was really craving something different and unique. We went to the right place. We were greeted by the friendly owner and received some samples on arrival. The menu is simple and easy. I had the Roast Beef Skone and loved it. It added some of the homemade chipotle sauce and spiced it up. The fries and dipping sauces were delicious. I look forward to going back and trying all the options and desserts.

It's basically an "Indian Taco". I wasn't too impressed, but my finance enjoyed it. The skones were basically heavy fry bread. The dessert ones were tasty, but they seemed heavy on the oil, like possibly the fryer temp wasn't quite right. They had samples when I went in, of the dessert ones. The owners were enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was friendly.
Stopped by while on duty was amazing food and great atmosphere. Sad I live too far away but will be back when I work or visit.

Hands down the best place to go if you are hungry for a sandwich. Forget the fast food chains, the Golden Scone has them all beat. Come hungry too, you will get a big sandwich that will definitely hit the spot!

Came here to check out what a skone is all about for lunch today. The owner was at the register and was super friendly and did a great job of explaining what they offer to this first-timer. I decided to order the hamburger skone this time. Opted for the combo which included a great twist of 'curly' fries! While waiting for the sandwich he handed me a sample of their fry bread, and fry bread with cinnamon sugar. What a nice way to make me want more! Sandwich came out, so very delicious! Loved every bite. This was really filling, kept my stomach happy for the rest of the day! You have got to try this place out!
