Delicious food!
Very reasonably priced!
Owners were so welcoming, they even took us on a private tour of the gift shop that was closed.
Lots of beautiful items!!
The food was delicious! Not just revamped “Sysco” fare! Everything was made fresh!
Willing to make a vegetarian Navajo Taco for my wife.
Worth the stop and time.

Understand going in that you are going to a small family run food stand and gift shop in what looks to be a former gas station that they are slowly renovating. Your food will be made to order and the service will be kind and considerate but it will take a bit as fresh cooked food often does. With all that understood, enjoy fresh food at very reasonable prices and a gift shop of high quality items some of which are made by the family. The steak sandwich on fry bread is highly recommended.

Wonderfully authentic and served up by two friendly ladies! The fry bread with honey and Navajo tacos were delicious, fresh, and did not disappoint. If you blink you’ll miss this quick stop, but worth the effort! Their health rating/review was posted and it was glowing. The kitchen was extremely clean; you can view the chef preparing your meal. We ate outside at the picnic table and had to order one more fry bread for the road!

It looks like you've come to the wrong place (there's a flashing open sign but not signage to tell you where you are), but the food and lemonade are phenomenal and so is the sweet lady who runs it. Definitely go here!!

10/10 Navajo Tacos, 11/10 People
The Navajo taco on fry bread is can’t-miss…amazing experience. And Jake and Irene are so friendly - definitely plan to come back soon.
YOU MUST STOP HERE. Navajo tacos were new for us as we are traveling thru. Very delicious. The Strawberry Lemonade and Limeade were also really good and a great size at 32oz for only $6!
There is a picnic table for seating outside and a small table inside.
Make sure to also checkout their giftshop while you wait for your order. Not very large but houses a lot of beautiful items and works of art.
The owners were very friendly and take a lot of pride in their food.

The vibe is chill, and the family that runs it is SO nice, but mom gets the spotlight. That frybread should be illegal. Had a cheeseburger with green chilies on frybread and a giant hand-squeezed limeade. Bathrooms are spotless. Will go back. AC is set to arctic circle, be ready.

I don't normally hop on and review anything. While driving West we decided to stop by Mother Road for lunch. I got the taco and my husband and child both got burgers. We got fresh squeezed lemonade and limeade. It couldn't have been a more perfect lunch. Everything was delicious and it's all family owned and run so they all checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. Also, don't miss their beautiful, handmade jewelry. We left with a couple pieces and could easily have left with more. Don't miss this wonderful stop off 40.
