The marketplace is our go to for to-go mini cakes in scottsdale. The coconut and chocolate raspberry are to die for and perfect size for two to share. Service is great, the little shop has some fun finds.
Only downside: We used to love grabbing some pastries however, unfortunately they changed their case and is now open air (only a small piece of glass between the pastry containers and customers). Have seen customers reaching over the glass to point out what they want and (of course) some sneezing during spring allergy season. It’s a shame too because the quality is one of the best in scottsdale. (The cakes are in a separate enclosed case)

This place has the most delicious cakes. Whenever we're in town, we make sure to stop by for a coconut and a chocolate mini cake. They're so good. Today we ordered a salad that was supposed to come with almonds on it. They ran out of almonds, so they brought out an almond croissant to make up for it. Great service!

So many things to see. So many things to eat. AND so many delicious pastries! 🥐 Our favorite coffee house down the street was out of pastries, so we walked down to the Marketplace.
We really enjoyed our sweet treats! 😋 🥰

Cozy atmosphere and cute cute decor all around. Food was yummy, coffee was lukewarm:( that’s the only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars. No biggie.
Kid-friendliness: Not sure this is where to bring the littles. Sit outside if you do bc there are too many pretties and fragiles inside! But- this place has a LOT of really cute kid/toddler items (books, stuffies, wooden toys) for purchase! Super cute!

Recently treated to such welcoming and friendly customer service via text and in store just before Christmas, facilitating a Dinner Made Easy meal I purchased for a home bound friend! Store had just closed but I couldn’t have been treated better and made to feel appreciated and welcome for my business! Rare under the circumstances when dealing with other businesses! Food looked delicious!

First of all, this place was beautiful. Second, the menu was small, which I really like, and the quality of the food was top tier. I got the ham and cheese quiche and it was so tasty. Coffee was perfection. I normally avoid Old Town, but the location of this spot was slightly off the beaten path and there was lots of nearby free parking. However, they do have a small dedicated parking lot as well. Plus, if you are visiting the Poisoned Pen bookshop, this is the perfect place to stop by first. Highly recommend!

The ham and cheese quiche was delicious. Not dry at all but flaky and had enough cheese that even though I found myself looking for a sauce or something (expecting it to be dry) but I didnt end up needing anything. The espresso was perfect. A basic iced latte that wasn't over sweetened or bitter. It was smooth and tasty and I love the atmosphere. Great, friendly music and tasteful decor. I wish there was more prepared to take and go. There was a salad that looked amazing and a few things like coleslaw. The service was perfect. Friendly and upbeat and they helped to suggest what I night prefer and I overheard them selling the sweets as well.

I think this place is cute and they have a wide variety of dishes and accessories and a local mini store.
The atmosphere is pleasant.
The menu is quite varied with many options and even a wide variety of breads and cakes.
They also have a small cafeteria.
The dishes have generous portions and good flavor.
In relation to the price and quality, it seems very adequate to me.
Regularly on weekends it gets a little crowded but you can enjoy delicious food in a nice place

Generally, it's a great place. I love their breakfast sandwich. I only wish they had more environmentally friendly food packaging -- a to go order gets you a plastic bag, a plastic fork, and plastic food packaging.
