During my recent wine tasting experience, the atmosphere was both elegant and welcoming. The selection of wines was impressive, catering to various palates and preferences. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Each team member was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and attentive. They took the time to explain the nuances of each wine, enhancing the tasting with insightful anecdotes and suggestions. Their passion for wine was evident, and it added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, the combination of exquisite wines and an exceptional staff made for a delightful and memorable outing.

Maria and Jenn do an amazing job. Release party was awesome. Catered food was incredible, new wine was smooth and silky with a long finish, music by Obie Hughes. Saxophonist made it feel like it was a speakeasy atmosphere. So much fun.

We came to Aridus on a Sunday afternoon for a friend’s birthday celebration and stayed all day! It is our new favorite wine tasting room in Old Town – excellent wines, detailed descriptions (if you want them), good pours, very helpful and attentive staff, dog friendly, delicious popcorn and charcuterie...and they even let us bring in some bruschetta and birthday desserts! I can’t recommend Jenna, Maria, and everyone else at Aridus enough! They made each of us feel like it was our birthday!

Aridus has a great little tasting room in Old Town and our experience was very good. We did the white flight and enjoyed all of the wines. The service was good, we had great interaction with the gal pouring and she didn’t rush us from one taste to another. Great atmosphere and decor, this was my favorite wine experience in Scottsdale.

I cannot recommend enough! Jen is the sweetest person ever and she truly made our experience! The wine was amazing too, the Chardonnay was my favorite. definitely make this a stop on your list when in Scottsdale!
Excellent wine tasting experience. I tried the Barrel Select Tastings. The 2017 Aridus Tempranillo Barrel Select was one of my absolute favorites. It’s like a reunion with an old friend ?

The wines and service here were so lovely. I highly recommend the Reserve Barrel Red tasting flight! I'm usually disappointed at wine tastings but every single one of these was delicious!

Love to do wine tasting. Have done it all over the country. The charges for tasting $20 to $25 for 4 pours might be okay if there was any kind of interaction. The wine is very good but the best tasting experience involves hearing about the wine and process of making it, comparing vintages and generally sharing the tasting with the experts. This is what we experienced 2 years ago. Not today. Pour and be gone. Very disappointing. Felt bad about not tipping but the tasting fee was excessive enough. There was no interaction that was tip worthy. Between the 3 of us, we could have compared the differences between the vintages of the same wines and suggested that to hopefully get some kind of interaction with our host. Not happening. Went to Carlson, Salvatore and had wonderful experiences. And bought more wine. Aridus disappointed.

We had one of the worst service experiences that I’ve ever encountered here over this past weekend. I’ve attended various wine tastings in Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Arizona, Florida, California, and Colorado and have never had as poor of an experience as this. We were basically put into the back room and after ordering and starting our tastings (so only first pours) we were then forgotten about for 45 minutes. We received no information, education, or backstory about the winery, their process, or the specific wines. We received no tasting notes and no interaction or engagement from the woman who kicked us off. I had to go to the other room and wait around to try to speak with someone while she served other parties in the front, and ended up speaking with others three times and then with her once more trying to get attendance to our table. After the second glass, I asked her if there was any way we could have the remaining glasses from our flights so that we could continue at our own pace. She poured the second glasses and we were left again waiting, so then we finally got a bucket to pour our wine glasses out so that they would continue. Everyone except for one person dumped their wines so that we could move onto the third glass. Then after the third glass I went up to speak to her again and let her know that some people were still waiting on their final/fourth glasses but that I was happy to check out so that we wouldn’t need to wait longer for the bill once completed. She told me she didn’t believe me, thinking she had poured fourth glasses, and I asked her to go to the table and ask because that wasn’t the case. She then came back and said fine, I’ll get those shortly, but filled out the charges herself and added 25% gratuity for herself. I asked her if this was disclosed anywhere in a contract, when making our reservations, or on the menus and said I never saw this disclosed and that unfortunately I wasn’t comfortable with that because that didn’t align with what our experience was today and she continued forward anyways and said “that’s just our policy”. I reshared that that was really not right, but she told me it was what it was and I paid anyways ($189) despite my group being forgotten about, having little to no experience here, and having to pour out our wines as we went in order to continue because they refused to bring additional glasses. The only positive thing about this entire experience was Hannah, the woman who was playing live music in the front who was super sweet and had a great voice. The people working at the time did nothing despite me coming up to talk to them 3-4 times and then my friend also talking to them after I paid and came back to the table upset about the horrible customer service and them adding 25% gratuity on top. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service upon kindly expressing the feedback on our experience and even offering solutions, such as asking for the extra glasses so we could continue. Being charged $189 for this awful experience is really not right and they should have made it right for us when recognizing that they left us basically ignored in the back for 2 hours. There are plenty of other great wine tasting places in the area, please do not get scammed like we did. Happy to update my review if management would like to call us back to discuss and/or to make this right.
