This place is a hidden gem, pork and beef ribs were off the charts. The bbq sauces were a hit for all flavors. The ownership/staff are extremely kind and service oriented, from the looks of the place, fun on Friday/Saturday night with music. Reminded me of great BBQ and blues spots in Memphis/Carolinas. Hands down better than whatever bbq chain you think is good in Phoenix/Scottsdale.

Saw this place driving through the parking lot. Stopped in for dinner and it was such a great experience. More food than you can put down. Each plate was delicious and was like a food challenge. Joe was playing the guitar and the lady serving everyone was more than pleasant. Amazing atmosphere and food to match. We'll be back.

I had an amazing experience at Arizona BBQ Shack! I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was incredibly moist and flavorful—easily one of the best I’ve had. While I was enjoying my meal, Joe was playing blues on an electric guitar, and the soulful music added so much to the atmosphere.
The vibe of this place is warm, inviting, and full of character. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for great BBQ and live blues music. The staff was super friendly too—they even gave me an extra hot link to try, and it was smoked to perfection.
The owner told me that blues musicians regularly stop by, and on weekends they often have live performances. You can really feel the passion for both food and music here.
I highly recommend Arizona BBQ Shack to anyone looking for a unique and delicious experience. Great food, great music, and a great atmosphere all around!

Best BBQ Brisket in AZ!! We’ve been a handful of times, for lunch and a couple for dinner when they have live music. Always a great experience. Definitely worth checking out wherever you are in the valley!!
They had live music when I was there and it was great. Service was top notch. The food was absolutely wonderful. When I tasted the colored greens I knew they were the best I've had at a restaurant in a long while. Oh and the BBQ, can't forget that, was fantastic. I really like the sweet sauce the best with the pulled pork!!!

I went to the Arizona barbecue shack for lunch today. Met the chef Joe and Shea. Two very nice people. This restaurant/smokehouse has great ambience, full of musical instruments and great seating. The food was also delicious. I had a half slab of baby back ribs, sweet potato fries and mac & cheese. all were delicious. Today was open mike Tuesday. Before my order was served I had an opportunity to get up to the piano, And as a fledgling pianist, played a few measures of John Lennon’s Imagine. Great place to dine and enjoy music. Will definitely return.
