This restaurant is a James Beard award finalist. The food quality and execution was subpar. We ordered the pork shank and literally could not cut the meat off the bone it was so dry. My husband ordered a steak rare and it came out medium, further the quality of the meat was poor as well. I would not expect this from a restaurant that ended up on the James Beard List. It seems they are skating on their reputation. We will never be returning.

Our server scotty was great! A group of us were catching up after not seeing each other after 2 years so we took awhile to order. Scotty was patient and all staff was attentive throughout the entire experience including our greeting at arrival which is why this is my favorite restaurant to come back to. My only disappointment, bring back the scallops

Unique and delicious menu! We really enjoyed our appetizers entrees. Husband had the famous chopped salad which was delicious and I loved the short ribs with parsnip puree. Not a big menu but what they serve is all done really well. Will go back again!

Chopped salad is excellent. The crab cakes less so, the spicy aioli overpowered the delicate taste of the crab meat. Still, it was a good dinner with excellent service.

Citizen is reliably good. They acknowledged our anniversary with a lovely card on the table and we enjoyed great service and excellent food. We visited for our anniversary 2 years ago and it is still good! We will be back on our next trip.
