I ordered a box of six cream puffs from Beard Papa, and they were incredible! I believe this chain is originally from Japan, and their cream puffs are something special. I tried the matcha cream and strawberry cheesecake cream, and they were both amazing choices. The Oreo shell on some of the puffs was a delightful addition and added a delicious crunch. Although it took a little while to get our order, I understood that everything was made fresh, and it was definitely worth the wait. The freshness and quality of the cream puffs were evident in every bite. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to visit Beard Papa again and try more of their delectable treats. If you're a fan of cream puffs, this place is a must-try!

Food was fine but service was horrible, extremely slow on a Saturday night. Be prepared to wait at least 30 min for one thing and the cashier wouldn't bother to tell you that another 10 orders were in front of you.

Thank you ladies of Beard Papa!! I used to go to Beard Papa in Dallas and I was so excited to find one here! Unfortunately I showed up right at closing but these kind ladies still hooked me up with the best cream puffs! I am sure they were ready to go home but they were so kind and sweet to me. Ice cream the shakes the teas. Everything is amazing here. If you're going to get anything before you leave definitely get a cream puff. It's a great experience. Very unique.

Pick the eclair shell of your choice and next the filling to go inside. I’m surprised at how well their eclair held up during the drive home. The eclair didn’t become soggy and mushy, but still firm and delicate to bite into.A little expensive but a real treat once a week for some good bakery pastry.Parking for this location is inside a complex or parallel parking, so be ready to drive slowly and wait for foot traffic to pass by.

They were out of the flavors I went there to try (I should've called ahead) and parking was a nightmare (not their fault) BUT the choux buns were so crisp, the tops were perfectly sweet, and the fillings were smooth and delicious. We tried 6 different flavors including the s'mores, matcha, strawberry, and chocolate and loved them all.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect but thoroughly enjoy my green tea cream puff. It had a fairly mild green tea taste but still had flavor. It's a good after dinner desert and I would love this with some coffee next time.

TLDR: Very disappointed with our last order of cream puffs that are typically quite pricey. Significant decline in quality since the last time we were here and will not be returning. I will preface this by saying we've been here a few times prior and were always blown away with how good these pastries were. This time we had come in to pick up our pack of 6 cream puffs after winning their Instagram giveaway. The man behind the counter examined the coupon for a long time before accepting it (which is fine). He also informed us they did not have their new Hazelnut filling (also fine). When we got home and dug into our cream puffs the outside was very stale and nothing like before. I'm leaning towards the possibility that we were given old cream puffs because we won the giveaway and didn't have to pay for them. Regardless of whether this was intentional or not, we will not be returning because either the worker was spiteful or the product quality has significantly deteriorated. At this price, there is way too many other options to give this a second thought. We did also try their brown sugar boba milk tea, which I believe is new, and was surprisingly quite good! Unfortunately, that is also quite pricey without the BOGO deal and unable to change my overall opinion of this place.

My only complaint is that the location is distinctly inconvenient hidden away in an obscure Scottsdale shopping center.Everything else is great. Go buy a creme puff.
