I got the chocolate lava cupcake. While it was delicious—the cake was soft and moist and the buttercream was rich and creamy—it was supposed to have a molten filling, but it was just more buttercream. Perhaps they accidentally gave me one of the regular chocolate cupcakes, but I was disappointed.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The owner was so helpful and kind. He obviously knows his stuff for all things vegan and gluten free. My celiac daughter got tears in her eyes trying the delicious meatballs, muffins, cupcakes, and gf ice cream cone because she’s missed them so much. We are not local, but we will be coming back to Scottsdale for this place! Thank you, Rich!

My best friend and I visited Phx for the first time and we had a list of Vegan/Vegan-Friendly eateries we wanted to experience. BEG was on that list!! AND they did not disappoint! The owner and her husband were the sweetest and have the sweetest love story of how BEG became to be. We were too late to try the cinnamon rolls (call ahead of time for those cinnamon rolls..) because they had sold out, but we we got some muffins and a couple of cupcakes… all were good… they have GF options and everything is labeled. The decor is so cute and the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. BUT what really stole the show was Parm!! The husband (I’m sorry, we did not get his name) is behind Parm and he is standing on BUSINESS with how much he has poured into making his plant-based, meat alternatives taste like… well actually better than the animals. He gave us a sampler of the eggplant, chicken, meatballs and spaghetti…and didnt want to charge us… EVERYTHING was so good that we had to place more orders of food. We are glad that we were able to experience both businesses AND that they were awesome experiences. Thank you to the staff and the owners! When I come back to Phx, I’ll definitely be stopping by and hopefully I’ll be able to try the cinnamon rolls the next time. Wishing yall great success for the rest of 2024 and ALL 2025 and beyond!

There is no better beginning to a day than a muffin from B.E.G. I do my best to make a box of six exist for six whole days, which every one wakes me up craving. The cupcakes are so good you will want to eat the paper they come beautifully baked in, BOMB vegan spot, definitely worth a stop, no better use of your currency than to patronize this family-owned business.
