Bar tender tipped herself 150 dollars trying to get corporates number to make a complaint. Still not worth taking no one to court for 150 dollars but their has to be a way I can handle this because she tipped herself 150 dollars I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nothing but a racist place felt that vibe water can’t admit she did fraud they think I’m dumb or was out partying that night when that’s the first place I went to and last place in Scottsdale after that if a water will tip her self 150.

This place should not have closed down. Serving shots in little rubber ducks is brilliant, and it was had good atmosphere and a good location. Bring back Bevvy!

The food and atmosphere was great! Service was a little slow but did the best they could with such a big party. However, we could not split our check even though we weren’t all sitting together. We were told we could only do one check for our party so that was pretty frustrating. Otherwise, really good place!

The only issue we had was with our initial waitress, Cammy. She was giving off racist energy and became drunk on the clock and it confirmed it. She smiled and assisted our white friends but didn’t write down ONE order when it came to me and my 3 African American friends. We asked for a new waitress and Bre and Shane assisted us sooooooo well!!! They were so kind and had our orders out immediately and correctly! If you visit, please ask for Bre or Shane!

Paid $20 to get my friend in the door because he was wearing white nikes when I was wearing white reeboks. What is the reasoning for that? Vibes were up tight and terrible the whole time. Would recommend any other bar in the area before this one.

I was visiting a friend from SLC for the weekend and we decided to go out downtown. First off, I was wearing white air force ones and was charged $20 to enter. Secondly and most importantly, I was standing next to my friend and was assaulted by a worker with blonde ice tip hair who threw me to the ground. When I got up and approached the worker I was told “I was in his way”. I said I would sue him and walked away. Briefly after the assault I had another worker approach me who asked if I would join him for a conversation. He led me outside and said “because you said you would sue” that I couldn’t go back in. At that point my night was ruined and I just wanted to leave. I wish I could actually afford to sue this bar because what I experienced was completely uncalled for. The individual that assaulted me was never held accountable and the bouncers had no intentions of attempting to make the situation right. The next time I’m back in Scottsdale I will make sure to avoid this bar.

All I Have to say, is Bevvy needs to do better.My friends and I patronized Bevvy Oldtown this past weekend for a 40th birthday Celebration. When I tell you, we had the worst experience hands-down.I showed up to the party, I ordered cheese sticks and french fries. When they sent the cheese sticks out they were a different brand of cheese sticks from the ones that my friends ordered earlier, and the taste was not good so I sent them back, I was told that the cheese sticks were the same batch, don’t insult my intelligence—I compared the sticks one skinny cheese stick made from beer batter and one thick cheese stick made from breadcrumb batter—I told them very nicely I’ll just order fries. They were friendly I give them that in the beginning.. the waitress said it’s fine we can bring you another. I said no it’s fine I’ll just order fries. We order fries and fries came out. Immediately we notice a long brown hair in the fries so we sent the fries back, they apologized and brought another plate of fries. Unfortunately as we’re eating the fries we noticed dog hair and human hair as well as lint. I can’t make this up. It’s as if someone dropped the fries on the floor, picked them up and threw them in the fryer! Not OK so I just ordered water and nothing else and then one of our friends wanted to order shots for the entire table for the birthday. The waitress failed to ask him if he wanted that on one ticket. So all we receive our bills everyone gets a bill for the shots. On my will I put zero as a tip. The waitress came to get our tickets and had the gall and the audacity when she noticed that I circled zero for the tip popped an attitude when she noticed I forgot to sign my name on the receipt throws the pin at me on the table and says you still need to sign and rolled her eyes and walked away. That rubbed me the wrong way and I said to myself if I was going to tip in cash you just lost your tip. I don’t deal with the attitudes. Moments later after she takes everyone’s payment the manager comes to the table… mind you we haven’t seen the manager all day and accuses our table of not tipping the waitress in her words she said, is there any reason that you guys tipped our waitress zero dollars?! Was there a problem with the service?! Was there a problem with the food? I instantly was irritated the demoralization of her loudly accusing an all black table. I hate to throw race in there but it’s like come on you’re accusing us of not tipping, and my friends literally tipped her earlier on before I got to the table , and tipped her again so she was upset because I chose not to tip her because of the service I received, and then made my friend feel guilty by explaining to her that she only gets part of the tip because her company takes the other portion… that is not our problem, or our fault, what you won’t do is guilt us into tipping you more money because you’re greedy and you’re upset because one person chose not to tip you, not OK and if I could call corporate, I would call corporate because this is unacceptable behavior and disrespectful. Tipping is an option and not a requirement unless it’s in print for large parties, and even so that tip comes automatically out of the large bill. Anything extra is just extra I was highly disgusted and I will never patronize Bevvy and I will make sure that my friends and family and the world knows how disrespectful Old Town Scottsdale Bevvy is to its customers of color. This was the most discriminating humiliating experience ever.

Bouncer has an imagination of his own. Made me venmo his personal account $20 for wearing air forces because I was “out of dress code”. Everyone in the bar is wearing tennis shoes and I watched multiple people walk through without an issue. Check your bouncers??

Good food, Daisy Dukes and a pair of eyes, Good bartending. Great DJs besides this fill in DJ that comes in occasionally, and in my opinion, doesnt have the music in him(not good for a dj). Nor did the dude have integrity....Not hating, but I slipped him 20 to play a song, and he never played it. Reluctantly, he gave it back. I slapped it on the bar for the beautiful bartender who was pouring us up, and my bro and I left...used to pay rent there! 1000-1500 a night! Other than that....subpar DJ, only have good things to say about that bar. That's my spot, and one of the only spots I'll ever go to in Old Town scottsdale! Oh and the thoughts are amazing. We're all about those tots?

Idk the cook but best steak I've had at a bar let alone a restaurant! The service was also very good.

$7 event fee cuz the Michigan game was on!!!! 22% tip automatically added to you bill!!!!! Wow I was not at a five star restaurant and it was just two of us.Food is typical bar food, nachos, cheese sticks,ect. Nothing to write home about. Just OK. We were seated outdoors on grimes dirty booth. The music is sooooo loud cannot even carry on conversation.
