Blanco Cocina + Cantina

The tres leches is ok but the old recipe was amazing!!! Our waiter was fantastic. I didn't catch his name but he had bleach blonde hair.

Great drinks and food and burger from the happy hour menu! Service was excellent and definitely would go back

It is an open dining room so rather noisy but the food was better than usual and the seating and service was quick. I enjoyed the evening!

Love Blanco! One of our favorite Mexican Food spots. Great margaritas and food - fun atmosphere!

We sat outside. It was hot, but the misters were on, so that helped A LOT! Drinks and food were great!

I love Blanco but honestly the last few visits have been disappointing. I ordered a Cheese Crisp with shredded chicken ( Tinga) and it was good but to be charged 2 dollars more than if I just ordered a Tinga Quesadilla without green Chiles off the menu? Made no sense. Then my dinner mates Taco salad was as she put it, the worst salad she has had there. Way too much lettuce. Etc. we both do like Blanco and the service was great but now reconsidering booking again. Makes me sad.

First, it is Phoenix and hot so the restaurant was not full like it normally would be in the other half of the year, which I personally liked. We saw great outside seating with misters and plan to go back when not quite so hot. My husband has the bad cilantro gene and the waiter and kitchen were very accommodating g with a Chicken Chimichanga and pinto beans that were both delicious. I and our friend spilt two dishes, also good, but the mahi taco was excellent. The very simple and straightforward margarita was excellent, as was one of the non-alcoholic refreshers.

My husband and I chose this wonderful eatery to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary. The staff was wonderful, and they readily corrected a minor complaint that we had, going above and beyond the norm to assure our dining experience was enjoyable. This was our first time at this location. We have enjoyed the downtown and Biltmore locations over the past few years. We will continue to choose this and other Fox restaurants when we dine out.

Well the foods good. My chimmi was in the fryer a bit long and they didn’t give me extra guac but they sure charged me for it. I ordered for pick up I’m on my honeymoon and when I didn’t look like their usual customers the demeanor was aweful. Still tipped but it was 20 + more dollars than priced just not a great experience for the price of food that while is delicious. Wasn’t suppose to be this pricy….

First time in and left disappointed. Overly priced and subpar food and drinks. So silly when you make a reservation, arrive to a pretty open place and get seated at a terrible table, makes no sense. Will not return or recommend. Might seem a little nitpicking, but servers should take the extra footsteps to serve you at your table rather than pass your food and drinks to you over a pony wall.

I have lived in Scottsdale a lot of years and have heard of Blanco Cocina for a while. We tried to get in one time but it was way too busy. We decided to try it out yesterday. It wasn't very busy which was nice. I ordered the platter that contained a ground beef taco, a cheese enchilada and a bean tostada. I had seen photos on line of the delicious looking tacos and was eager to try it. The service was friendly and fast. The music was very loud. The plate arrived and I was pretty shocked to see a taco shell and a tostado shell and not a real tortilla in sight. I was extremely underwhelmed to say the least. If I had wanted a taco shell I would have gone to Taco Bell. My husband's tacos were in tortillas and looked pretty good. We both decided that Manuel's was still our go to for Mexican food.

Solid. The carne burrito was decent and the black beans were really good. The rice is not what you typically find at a Mexican joint, but it was ok. The burrito could have used a bit more sauce, but overall it was a good meal.

The GM was amazing and wonderful service!!! Great food and consistent!! Bring back the poblano shrimp enchiladas please!!!

The skinny margaritas and mahi fish tacos were excellent. Our server was also wonderful. We can't wait to come back with more friends.
