Blanco Cocina + Cantina

Blanco was excellent. Friendly staff and great food. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Alight but the entrée came out before the drinks and their $15 piña colada is served with ice cubes shaken -on the rocks.

We typically dine at the downtown location and love it. Have never had any complaints for that location. Last night tried the Scottsdale location and was very disappointed. 4 of us and all of our meals were cold when presented to us. The drinks seemed to be made by amateurs as they didn't follow directions of what we wanted for drinks.

Hostesses did not follow reservation details and gave our high top table away by mistake. We understand things happen, but how they mishandled after was what I had a problem with. Why do high school students hostess if they are not able to fill reservations without an attire or solution. It made our special occasions weird. This is the second time they have botched our reservation for a table of 6-10. Tainted...

Went here with my wife for dinner and a date night on our last evening in Scottsdale, and we were immediately blown away by the food. I had the jalapeño pineapple margarita—absolute perfection. My wife ordered a chimichanga, and that was spot-on too. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely worth coming back for whenever we’re in town again.

The only downside was the restroom situation—men’s was outside in a trailer, and the women’s was oddly set up inside the men’s area. A little awkward, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

The food and service here were both excellent and the place has beautiful decor with plenty of parking. We tried the machaca enchiladas and a carnitas burrito and everything was really tasty especially the chips and salsa. Even though the beans and rice weren’t quite my style I still really enjoyed this restaurant.

We sat on the “upper” level next to the bar & were served by one of the bartenders- he was the best server we've ever had! He was so friendly, polite- just a gem!!

We were sitting in the patio and it was really hot because they turned off the mist. It seems like the system wasn't working properly and everywhere was wet so they had to stop it.

Had dinner before going to a concert. We had a reservation, so there was no wait time. The food and service was great! Our waitress was attentive and provided excellent recommendations. It did not take long for the food to come out, which was good because time was important that day.

The apps were great. Our main course came out and it was not good. I believe that our enchiladas had been made a day before and warmed up. My buddy got a burrito and said it was the same.

We had great service and my chicken Tinga bowl was great – – they allowed me to substitute more vegetables and shredded lettuce for the rice. I really appreciated that! 

We went here due to a recommendation for gluten allergy, my wife has celiacs so even cross-contamination will make her sick for days.

The food was absolutely phenomenal, tasted delicious and they were able to adjust the majority of the menu to be gluten free. Our server, Manny is incredibly professional and quickly adjusted everything on the table. Once we mentioned celiacs. When my wife's food came out it was escorted by the manager as well. Who made sure that gloves were changed and everything was wiped down and everything was dropped in a clean fryer.

My only gripe is the music was pretty loud. Had a hard time holding a conversation with my wife across the table but it's a very small gripe for health phenomenal the service was. Outstanding work Manny, dining experiences tend to be miserable because nobody ever takes it seriously when my wife gets sick for it but you went above and beyond.

Unfortunately there was a party or two going on while we were there. Our service may not be indicative of the norm. We had to wait a very long time for our meals and even our drinks. The waitress was very friendly with us. Food was generally good and the guacamole was very good. We would go again to give them another chance on the service.
