Christopher you're amazing! Thank you for being kind to Betsy and I. We went into 4 different places before we found BootLeggers. Betsy recommends this place for anyone with autism if you want to feel welcomed and seen. Food was delicious nothing left on my plate.

Travelled from Southern California on vacation and wondered into Bootleggers on a whim for dinner with the whole family. We made it in time for happy hour and their choices were great and priced at a steal. Maybe I'm not familiar with Arizona prices, but I haven't had that much food, for 6 people, for $140 in CA in I can't remember when. The food was delicious and we left absolutely stuffed (by choice). Frankie, our server, was friendly and made some great suggestions. Did I mention the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce was outstanding? Or that you MUST try the corn? The only thing I can complain about, was that there seemed to be no AC and it was pretty warm inside - the only reason I marked the atmosphere lower. Overall, we were all super excited about the food and recommend this place if you're in the mood for great BBQ!

The food was pretty good. Not the best but better than some other places. The place was not that crowded when we went. But the is no AC and it was hot out. The chairs are not the most comfortable so staying and just talking with friends after eating was not a good idea. Even though there was almost no one in there, our food took forever. We got the deviled eggs appetizer and it was not what was described. There were no chives and instead was beets sauce and it looked like the eggs were pickled in beet juice. The pulled pork was good. Was a little dry. The staff especially our server Jaelyn was the best! Such a great personality and was fun to talk to. Prices were ok I guess.

No AC! Thanks, it was only 113 today! The Mac balls warm, center cool. Sauce for then outstanding. The ribs were either over boiled, recooked, but lacked flavor. The chicken sandwich was great. Chris did great, but he doesn’t control AC, so this ruins the meal! Not worth a repeat for the future.

Outstanding food and great service! Nobody at our table could finish their food! The smoked turkey and chicken were some of the best I have ever had and very reasonable prices!!

Christopher the bartender overall host is an amazing asset. He is a big reason we keep going back. Top Notch. True spirit of old scottsdale.

Never disappoints, always the first lunch in Scottsdale

We came here on Thursday, Jun 5 for dinner and we had the best experience. We sat at the bar and our server, Christopher, was so so friendly and attentive, and the drinks and food we ordered arrived so quickly! We had the BBQ platter for 2 which could have fed 6 people and the sweet corn. It was SO good! I have never had a better brisket/ribs/etc. We highly recommend this place! Will come back when I’m Scottsdale next.

I wish there was a yes but no option. Party of 5 of us came in Tuesday (4/29) night. My daughter graduated college! Super awesome! Our waitress was a nightmare. For real. I asked her what she suggested for a drink off the cocktail menu. Legit response ‘I honestly don’t even care.’ Okay. Sweet. Thanks sis. She had 2 other tables. One table she was sitting with. Laughing. Joking. Having a great time. Fine. Maybe we look unfriendly. We don’t. But okay. Order our food…..it was FANTASTIC. We all absolutely LOVED what we had. It was seriously one of the best meals I personally have had in a while. The service and attitude continued to be trash. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Tipped exactly 18% because I bartend so I get it. Left a review on the comment card we were given. 5s all around for food. 0s all around for service. Laura, if you are seeing this. I hope your day got better! Next time, eat a Snickers.

Manager was awful. Service was one of the worst I’ve dealt with. Never would go back. Please stay away.

Burger was extremely burnt. chips were cold. Jalopeno poppers were burnt on the bottom and bacon wasn’t cooked on the top. Waiter was good but took 20 minutes to get someone to come over to serve us.

Was so excited for this place but the experience was abysmal from start to finish. Girl behind the bar was not having a good night. They kept running out of food, including our meat platter for two after the order had already been placed. We were starving, so switched it to a sandwich while we waited on appetizers. Please tell me how $11 for three deviled eggs or three jalapeño poppers is okay?! Spent over $100 on bad food and bad service and was still hungry afterwards. Never again.
