1. Service was slow from start to finish. Had to go ask for bill. Was not checked on while we ate. 2. Ordered a 24 dollar chicken sandwich that was dry, small and just not good. 3. The 26 dollar burger my wife ordered was average. Was not even asked how she would like it cooked. 4. They were out of fries and the kettle chips that come with the sandwiches. They did allow to substitute Mac n cheese instead but it was very bland and had to add lots of salt for any taste. For what we paid it was a very disappointing experience and unless they were just having an off night I would not recommend this place.

We returned to this restaurant 4 years after a couple of great meals here. We arrived hungry, looking forward to the Nacho Flat. We ordered this in the past and it was delicious. In the past, the Nacho Flat was served on a large platter, about the size of a half cookie sheet. Imagine our surprise when the waiter brought out a very, very small plate with a few chips, melted cheese, cold brisket, and a few jalapeños! We were too hungry to send it back. The Nacho Flat was missing most of the items shown on the menu. There was no chipotle cheddar sauce, no avocado relish, and no cilantro. We paid $16 for a small plate of chips, a little cheese, and old reheated brisket. The same menu item is $23 when Happy Hour is over! I looked at the reviews on their website for this item. All the reviews are dated 3 to 5 years ago when the Nacho Flat was fresh, delicious, and generous. Still being hungry, we ordered the brisket tacos. The waitress said the kitchen was OUT of brisket hash - one of their feature BBQ items - at 6pm on a Friday night! We paid the bill and left. We stopped on our way home to pick up food since Bootleggers didn't satisfy. The staff was okay. The ambience was good. Plenty of seating as it was almost empty, no sure why given it was a Friday night. Perhaps the word has spread about the poor food quality. We won't go back.

Nice in side ,, however the service was absent and the menu was so limited to one BBQ item ..they only had pulled pork at 6pm dinner time..they must be on a shoe string budget. I won't be returning.

At lunchtime, they had one server for the entire place. A group of 9 of us arrived at 12:05 and ordered at 12:10. We also informed the server that we had to be somewhere at 1 and she said it would be no problem. We watched as 3 other tables (couples only, to be fair) arrived after us, ate their food, and left while we sat waiting for ours. We finally had to send half the group ahead while the rest of us waited for the food. We got our food at 1:10!! A full hour after ordering! To make matters worse, as we were carrying the food out (we asked at about 12:50 to put it in to-go boxes rather than on plates), there was a table of about 15 people on the other side of the room (we couldn't see them until walking out past the bar) who arrived AFTER us and appeared to be about halfway through eating their food. There was a mild apology from the server who gaves us a whopping 2 sets of flatware for the entire order. Although the food was excellent, I will never go there again. Absolutely worst service I have ever had from a restaurant.

It was closed due to summer hours. I did not notice if it was on its website or Google.

Visited on a quiet evening in the summer. Mediocre food that is overpriced. $17 for the wedge salad in the photo. Brisket served cold, they did replace the serving with a new plate of hot food when asked. Service was good, just disappointed with the quality of the food, especially for the price.

It was good for a fast bite; the waiter was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Kind of pricey for burgers and fries, but it is in Old Town Scottsdale, so no complaints here. 😊😊

I went there while visiting old town based on reviews what a let down. My wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich clearly it was Costco quality, over sauced with BBQ sauce . I ordered a open face turkey sandwich did not expect cold cut quality turkey. Now i see on a news feature they are in violation of major health department code violations. Very tender and very juicy brisket. You can feel the fat flowing as if its water in your mouth.

I visited here from California and its exactly what you expect when you think of Southern delights
