My husband and I had an excellent dinner last night at Bourbon and Bones. He enjoys the whiskey selection and tried a new whiskey which he really enjoyed. We both have steak with mushrooms which was delicious and perfectly cooked. We ended our meal with the chocolate cake which shouldn't be missed! As aways, the wait staff is helpful, courteous, and professional. We had Katya as our main server and appreciated her suggestions very much.
The menu looks a little pricey at first glance, but definitely worth it! sides plentiful and are shareable. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable, honest and helped navigate the selections. The main dining room was very noise but there were three large groups when we were there. The bar area with the window open was the place to sit...we will go back soon and try happy hour. Complimentary valet parking was very convenient.
I had the 10oz filet mignon, medium rare. Perfect. My bf had the prime rib special - came with corn, baked potato, creamy horseradish. And his son had the tomahawk ribeye. All meats were delicious. We had the masked potatoes, brussel sprouts and mushrooms. I had the shrimp cocktail. And we shared the warm apple crips for dessert. Service, host, staff - all were just great. My water was filled constantly....the men had old fashioned with a great pour. I got a bone marrow butter....
