Our meal was excellent. We ordered the Ahi Tartare, Twinkie & the Tomato Tart (first time we had it, and it was delicious) to start. We shared the ever so rich and delicious pot pie (not sure there's anything better!) and ended with the KeyLime sundae (oh my goodness) with a few drinks along the way It is always a treat to eat at Bourbon Steak; Scottsdale is now our favorite location.
We decided to to spend our anniversary here. It was a weeknight, so it was very quiet and not very busy at all. We felt like we got all of the attention and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Everything we tasted was absolutely wonderful. Surprisingly, their fries were one of my favorite parts about the meal. I got the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tender as can be. We enjoyed the overall ambience and quietness of our experience.
We had an amazing time at Bourbon Steak celebrating our recent engagement! From getting out of the car to the moment we left, everyone was very welcoming and made us feel special. Also a huge thank you to Chef Andrew for the excellent service and delicious food! We got to try the salmon that was caught in Alaska days prior to being served and it was easily the best fish I've ever had! I would highly recommend and will definitely make a visit back!
The food was good, the service was good. When the bill came, it was very very, very confusing. they saw us at the bar and I asked him if they had anywhere that was a little bit quieter and they said that was the quietest place. Too bad the place used to be so much nicer and so much elegant. It's now just a very loud disco atmosphere
Always a great experience at any of Michael Mina's restaurants. This particular one in Scottsdale, is premier, with a great environment, thoughtful staff and the menu/bar selections are always taken to the next level. I will be back again soon.
I’ve been thinking how to review this restaurant. Everything was great but at the same time it’s just standard steakhouse fair (albeit very well done). But then again you know that’s what you are getting before you go. But the funniest feeling the day after eating. I want to cook. A good meal is a good meal but the fact that this meal made inspired to cook something - really tells me that this was a great dinner.
The service was outstanding. The cheesecake incredible. Great steak. Three styles of fry to start the meal? Forget bread. Overall everything was great, a couple little imperfections like the overcooked pasta in the Mac and cheese but overall a great meal and I can’t wait to go back.
And they had cookbooks. Nothing better than getting a cookbook to remember the meal. Except the meal being good enough to make you want to remember

Dined on Fathers Day for early dinner. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner. Derick was our server for the evening. He made the night enjoyable and provide excellent attentive service with some great recommendations to the spirit menu. Oysters and beef tartare for starters went great with the vodka martini. For entree the cowboy steak, which is 20oz ribeye with tail bone had a lot of fat on it for me. Not all ribeye steaks are perfect with eye and fat cap ratio.. so sometimes luck of the draw but for $98 your expectation is high. The wife had halibut which was good and not over cooked, However it was two tail pieces stacked on top of each other and finished with an olive tapenade. Again, my opinion should have been a single portion from the body of the fish not a tail end cut.. Use the scrape pieces for something else, don't pass it on the the guest. Sides were good, asparagus was pencil asparagus, just nothing there to eat really. Im no stranger to Mina however first to lime to this location. In all we enjoyed our time and the evening so that is all that matters.
Not a notable experience. Food felt flat, baked potato topped with velveeta, steak too tough for $70. Wouldn't return.
Amazing ambiance. One of the best steak houses in Arizona. Their appetizers, filet, and beignet are so good! This is a AAA 4 diamond restaurant, with an award winning chef. It was such a great choice for my husbands birthday dinner.
