I want to thank Kevin the manager, especially Alysha the bartender and the other tall server for making my birthday an experience and the wagyu burger was very unique, within due time I will be back again. I was thankful they gave me a candle with sprinkles and the best truffle bread that really astonished me and set the tone in the beginning . Very rarely if ever do I write reviews but man this could be my new favorite restaurant in the entirety of Arizona, I am very thankful!

This is one of our favorite places to dine, not only can we walk from our home but it's consistently phenomenal! It's not just the delicious food or the lively atmosphere or even the amazing cocktails & wine list, although that helps, it's the service you get time and time again! Our server was Devin and he made sure we were well taken care of for sure! He made us feel like family, he shared stories we had never heard before about the Fairmont Princess and Michael Mina. We truly did not want to leave, we could have sat there all night people watching, sipping wine and enjoying the company of Devin and all the staff. The assistant general manager, Kevin Shirley, visited our table multiple times to check in and chat as well, everyone was kind and made you feel truly cared for. We will be back for sure, there is never a doubt!

Our experience at Bourbon Steak was amazing from the beginning to the end. The atmosphere was so nice and the food was phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly. The desserts were awesome as well. Devon really made our evening special. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. He was consistently making sure that everything was perfect. Bourbon Steak is a must visit restaurant and I would recommend to ask for Devon; he is absolutely awesome.

We always enjoy Bourbon Steak and they did not disappoint on this visit. It was Sunday night and they weren’t very crowded so it was quiet with open seating at the bar. We sat at the bar with Alysha and she took very good care of us. Just enough attention and conversation to make it comfortable and enjoyable but enough space to enjoy the evening together. Will definitely return. If you decide to try it, sit at the bar with Alysha, you will enjoy the experience.

We have spent 10 out of the last 13 Thanksgivings at the Princess and had a family dinner at Bourbon Steak every time we have been there. We usually have between 10 to 12 people and utilize a private dining area. The family always has rave reviews. The food meets or exceeds every time - one family member was not a big meat eater but they look forward to their Filet every year. Service has matched the quality of the food and we have been fortunate to have Allan as our server for the last several years and everyone considers him one of the family. He is always there when you need him and does his job in a very professional manner while maintaining a happy and friendly persona. Bourbon Steak is always one of the highlights during our Thanksgiving week!

Service was slow. Food was ok. Oysters were ok told they were medium in size and they were the smallest oysters i ever had. Was expecting much more. My salmon was so small for the price. My sister had the steak and only the ends were prepared the way she requested the rest of the steak was not done the way she requested. Chicken was warm not hot. Overall just really disappointed

Here's the deal—we've been to Bourbon Steak multiple times in different locations, and it's usually incredible. We tend to keep it simple: steak, a salad, a side, and of course the fries (which are always on point), plus the occasional dirty martini. We chose Bourbon Steak this time because we were already at the Princess for the Christmas at the Princess event, which was fantastic. Touring the property afterward was a lot of fun, and we'll absolutely be back every Christmas because of that experience alone. Now, onto the restaurant itself. The ambiance and service were excellent, as always. I don't recall our server's name, but he was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, made great suggestions, and always attentive. The entire service team did a great job. We ordered the $98 ribeye and decided to split it since we planned on having dessert. We also ordered the kale salad, a couple of mocktails, and cocktails, which came out quickly and were delicious. We ordered the steak medium rare and asked if it could be pre-sliced so we could share it. When it arrived, the stone was hot and the plates were warm—acceptable for a steakhouse, though they could've been a bit hotter. A slightly higher plate temperature would help the steak hold heat longer, which feels like an easy win. The kale salad was fine, but honestly nothing special. I've had better salads at more casual places, but it's a salad—I can get past that. Now let's talk about the steak. When a restaurant has “steak” in the name—especially at this price point—the expectation is excellence. Unfortunately, the ribeye missed the mark. While the quality of the meat itself seemed decent, it was sliced paper thin. Ribeye simply doesn't hold up well when cut that thin—it loses structure and presentation and turns into more of a pile of meat than a proper steak. Our dinner at Bourbon was outstanding. Our server, Derick, was fantastic. He truly takes hospitality to a new level and crafts a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. He was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and genuine throughout the entire evening.
The food was delicious, Chef Andrew does an absolutely incredible job in the kitchen, and each bite was better than the next. The mangers, Pilar and Doug, checked in on us and were so kind which made our experience even more wonderful.

Highly recommend! Everyone was friendly and accommodating -- no small thing when we were an 11 person party with two toddlers and multiple dietary restrictions. Our server was wonderful, the food fantastic, and we had plenty of room at our outdoor table. Best meal we had in Scottsdale, no question.
