Hostess and server were very nice. Unfortunately, this was not enough to make for a positive experience nor reason to return. •Cocktail came out within a few minutes - nice however I didn't pay $18 for a cup full of ice. •Food was ordered shortly after I got my drink and that too was out in a few minutes. It made us feel rushed. •2 tacos per order with no sides so over priced. Birria tacos were sloppy wet- overall gross. •Bone marrow looked impressive and tasty however there was absolutely nothing to it and the most concerning was bone slivers that I got in my mouth so sharp like glass. I had this restaurant on my to go list for over a year. My hesitation should have told me to scratch it.

When we walked in, it was a bit stuffy and felt like they were only using a swamp cooler as opposed to air-conditioning. It took a long time for someone to come and greet us. She told us some disappointing news to begin. Two of us wanted restaurant week menu, while the other three of us were going to order off the menu. She informed us that unless everyone was ordering the restaurant menu, then none of us could have it. She then took our drink order and our appetizer order, which took an extremely long time to arrive. When things finally came, we were able to order our entrées. We weren't done finishing our appetizers when the entrées arrived, so it was awkward. There was not enough chips to go around for any of the appetizers that we ordered. Our meals were subpar and overpriced. We ordered a second drink, which took until after everyone was done eating and we were ready to pay the bill. It was very disappointing, and needless to say we will not return.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican meal served beautifully- this is the place! The food is delicious, the service is wonderful, just a gem!

Went during restaurant week and took advantage of their special. Service was fantastic, we were seated right away and everything came out fast. The crispy steak tacos weren't for me, I bit into a piece of cartilage so I didn't eat them. But the chicken taquitos made up for it. The chicken was good quality and the sauce was full of flavor. Overall, a good experience. I'll just stick with the taquitos next time or try something else.

Just an excellent meal and experience last night at CHM! Service was exceptional too! We didn't have the AZ Restaurant Week meal but our group enjoyed everything.

My husband and I chose "Call Her Martina" as our Anniversary dinner spot. This was our first time visiting. We found the place while browsing the restaurants nearby that are participating in Arizona Restaurant Week. We booked our table using Open Table, and upon arrival @ 5:30pm, there was only 1 other couple dining inside. We were greeted by a friendly hostess & seated instantly. The vibe is very welcoming. There is a decorative tree inside with lots of long flowing vines, which is nice. There was some music playing, and the lighting is very dim. We were given 2 complimentary tostadas and a trio of salsas to try. Our waiter was polite and attentive. Considering that we both used the Restaurant Week Promotion, we each got our choice of Red Wine, White Wine, Or Beer. We both opted for white wine, which was tasty. We got Elote off the cob & Chicken Flauta appetizers. Personally, I was not a huge fan of the Elote. The flavors were great, but the corn was slightly mushy. I think that it should be served with a small side of chips. That would be more appealing- especially for the price ($13.75) The flautas were delicious! I love that they were smothered with cheese, sauces & other herbs / veggies. For our entree we both got the crunchy steak tacos- which were absolutely amazing. If you like carne asada- don't even bother ordering anything else! The steak was cooked to Perfection - and the flavor was on point. We topped our meal off with dessert, which was a Churro Donut. My goodness- again, cooked to PERFECTION!!! It included Dulce de leche and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top. I have not had a dessert that good in quite a while. All in all, we had a wonderful experience here. This is not somewhere that I would go on a normal basis, as their pricing is a bit steep. I will note though that the pricing is justified. The quality of the food is amazing, and worth it in the long run.

Fabulous experience. From the hostess station to signing our cheque...it was all a pleasure. The food was inventive without being pretentious. Nice twist on guacamole and chips. The chips and sauce options were lovely and offered a spice level for both my husband and I. Our waitress helped us pick two great mains...Taco'n Madre and Cochinita Pibil Tacos. We split them and I honestly could not decide which I liked more. The sauces are rich and flavorful without overwhelming the main elements. We chose the Flan for dessert and it was lovely and light and melted in your mouth. The service was perfect, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The entire staff worked like a well oiled machine. pitching in to support each other, smiling and creating an energy seldom found when dining out anymore.

This was my first time here, we were greeted pleasantly and seated. Our server was nice super busy, therefore we had to catch her when we could- the place seemed understaffed. Cocktails were fun, but expensive. We had the carne asada nachos to start, good, followed by chicken tacos which was our best bit.

Went at an off time on Sunday afternoon. 4:30. Not very busy , but was certainly picking up by the time we left. Short rib was outstanding, as was the Paloma. Tortillas and salsa served to the table were a hit as well. Quesabirria was seasoned just right. Fantastic food, drinks and service makes this an excellent choice for dining at Fashion Square. Highly recommend!

We thought the food was delicious and our server was fantastic but the air conditioning was not working during 80% of our meal which was difficult when the temperature outside is over 100 degrees. I know that is not their fault but they could have informed us of that when we sat down and could have given us a discount for how uncomfortable the entire party of 12 were during our celebration.

Amazing food! Servings are not excessive. They were very very accommodating for food allergies!

It was a great surprise! Excellent food and service! I never say very good for prices, as it's always expensive to eat out. But at least this restaurant made every penny worth. Quality food and complexity of flavors!

We went to Call her Martina to celebrate 2 birthdays. The service was very good. The food was excellent. I had the mahi mahi ceviche which was excellent. The birthday cake came with a sparking candle. Very nice. My friends and I loved the place. It was a bit tricky to find, but the ambiance was very nice. We'll definitely be back.
