Although the Café couldn’t help with credit cards, and we wasted an hour driving to this location, the ambassador (Linzey? Spelling?) helped us feel like humans. He was kind, courteous, and welcoming. And although we didn’t get the help we needed, we were treated like VIP. Thank you.

We had some major frustrating issues with Capital One forcing us to do an in-person ID verification.
I'm leaving a 5-star review specifically for Lenzie who took care of us and got everything resolved. He was knowledgeable, courteous and just an over all great guy and we appreciated working with him.

Repeated and unwanted harassment via mail despite requests to stop. Harassment includes deadnaming
First, the maple cinnamon drink was awful. Tasted like gasoline syrup. I returned it immediately for an Americano (they didn't even offer to refund the first drink for the lower price of the replacement).
The Americano was just as bad. Ended up throwing it away. Aside from not offering a refund the lady behind the counter was very kind.
Second, wow to the price. $9.00 drink unless you use their capital one card then it's half off...otherwise known as the price of a regular drink anywhere else.
What a hokie business idea from a credit card company. Poorly executed.

This company is so unprofessional, liars, treat customers like they are second class, give false information, make you spends hours and gas running around to get a direct deposit form signed knowing that the employee's at the Cafe can't sign the form. They give you a fax number to send the form to so they can fill it out( It clearly states in the form Section 1 customer fills out including social security number and Section 2 to be filled out by Capital One) Capital One denied it stated a manager at the customer service number because I didn't put my account number on the form! But the form clearly states that I provide my social security number and the financial institution is to fill out the account number and routing number of my account from the social security number and Personal information provided in Section 1 as well as sign it, state their position at bank, date it and fax it to the number on the form back to my Pension Institution as well as I put all this Pertinent information on my fax cover letter to Capital One! They caused me to miss the deadline for Dec. direct deposit. They put a two week hold on my pension check this month after many times it has been deposited and released funds that day after verification of funds. They have ruined my credit because to date my mortgage hasn't been paid. This is how they treat retired senior citizens who rely on their pensions every month. When I called and spoke to a manager they in so many words told me to deal with it very disrespectfully.

I had a really positive experience here! I made my first checking and savings account and it went smoother than I thought. Janean was the one to help me and she was able to answer all the questions I had, she was very patient and helpful when talking to me. She really made the process quick and easy + the matcha at the cafe is amazing! I’ll definitely come back one day! 10/10 recommend :D

Linzie and Christian consistently make my experience amazing. I come by the cafe pretty frequently and always see both of them working. They are very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. During another customer interaction they were faced with a difficult and emotional customer yet they both stayed composed and professional. Much respect.

I came in for a cashier check. The lady at the front said they couldn’t print one due to the amount. I called customer service because I won’t be home to sign for the check (which is a requirement per capital one) and she said there is no limit to printing checks at the bank and suggested I go there but I live 50 minutes away from the branch was already home at that time.
Jenean was a huge help! The coffee is so good and Jenean comped our drinks because we came in for financial assistance. Service is fantastic & they have some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

We asked an employee ahead of time whether dogs were allowed, and he said yes. We then ordered two drinks, and sat down with our dog, hoping to get some work done. We watched another customer enter with a non-service dog (no vest, and was in a stroller), with no issues. A manager then came over and told us rudely that only service dogs were allowed. Wish they had clarified that before we ordered and were forced to leave. Also, food is astronomically expensive.
