Terrible. Ordered on Uber and then got told that I needed to come down and pay 3 extra dollars because the cost was wrong on the menu Uber has. Luckily my driver covered it so I didn't have to make the trip. On the phone with the lady up front she was incredibly rude and refused to help. Come to find out from the driver that after she hung up the phone she said "I don't give a f*** about no white boys food he can drive his a** down here and pay the $3 if he wants it". I called back to ask the lady for a manager and she immediately hung up knowing it was me. Called again and she had the kitchen answer and they said there's nothing they can do and I'll have to go back tomorrow to speak to a manager. Tried the oxtail and wings. They both had spilt all over the bag. The oxtail was tough and had no flavor and the wings had super chewy skin and they only give 4 to an order.

This restaurant was empty the two times I went in. The first time, the jerk chicken wasn’t great and I decided I’d only try their tacos on a Tuesday. The service could use some work. The lady asked me to repeat my order numerous times when she probably should’ve wrote it down the first or second time. The food takes a while to prepare but most is not from scratch so idk what the hold up is in the back. Well, it’s Tuesday and I just tried the fish tacos. They’re ok but the flour tortillas are very soggy. Cheap and cheerful but don’t go there looking for amazing Jamaican flavours. Go to Phoenix for that.

In all fairness, my rating reflects the lateness of the hour and the fact that our reservation went from 10 to 18. But they sat us and they said they could accommodate us. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed. Changing your order resulted in silent discipline, which ended up with one of the guest being verbally abused. This turned into a full blown shouting match with her boss. She berated one of the diners for complaining about the fatty ox tail. And exchanging her 1st drink. She proceeded to tell her how she'd been a problem from the beginning and that she was going to pay for both drinks. It took a total of two hours before we saw the 1st plate of food coming from the kitchen. It was just as we were getting ready to leave. The chef came from the back and said if we hadn't increased our number of guest we wouldn't have overwhelmed the kitchen. I personally will not return. It wasn't about the food it was about the lack of professional service and being disciplined for not knowing what the dish entail. Our server didn't try help us to understand what the meal clearly was.

I’ve been to Scottsdale twice and have made it a point to come here. The food is spectacular and people are nice. In love with the food!!

I've only eaten in the restaurant a handful of times. 5-6. I've picked up meals to serve guests ranging from 3-10. They are spot on with the cuisine prep, flavor and size of the dish. I enjoy having a good jamacian soft drink or rum while I wait at the bar joking in conversation with the staff. Great place. Always quiet.
