Hopefully an adult in charge c's d's reviews because keith and Connie are running a sad opperation at Turf Paradise. They have a very limited bar and food menu and 80% of items are "sold out" server Anna acted like it was our falut when we kept trying to order out of stock items....finally asked "what do you have?" The racetrack is already suffering cds is an insult to other restaurants by attempting to be in the same category.

Saturday night and the place was empty. Should have been our first clue. Menu choices are better at Costco and a Costco dog is what we were served as Italian sausage. Italian beef was dry and boring. This place will be shuttered by summer 2024.

Great service, nice atmosphere, HORRIBLE food. We stopped in here because the Blu Burger Grille next door was packed. We walked in and zero customers were there, and we think it's definitely because of the poor food quality. The cook served us super salty thin "hamburger" patties that were definitely not quarter lb. like their menu states. I would say that they were the size of Mcdonald's small cheeseburger patties (but Mcdonald's tastes WAY better). My husband ordered the 1/2lb burger and it was just 2 of the thin salty patties to supposedly somehow equal to a 1/2 lb burger. The burger had large chunks of cut up onion and and about 10 shakes of salt. It was so salty that I only could take one bite and I was done. Every single piece of lettuce was wilted and the lettuce on our nachos was wilted and brown. I just can't believe more than one person saw our food, and thought it was a good idea to serve it. How can you screw up nachos? With canned cheese, 3/4" chunks of raw onion, and wilted green leaf lettuce on top of tostitos tortilla chips. I know how hard it is to be a business owner, and how much work it takes, and how expensive it is. It's so disappointing to have experienced this, especially since these would be easy fixes for the owner since they have small menu! I'm afraid they aren't going to make it. I only posted this in hopes that the owner reads it. If they acknowledge they read this message, I'll take it down. 1230 pm on 3/9/2024

Refused Groupon purchased day before after driving 20 miles....really? "Manager" explainned he does not make enough money....YET, HE HAD TO SIGN A CONTRACT stipulating to the financial terms with Groupon. Having used Groupon as a business person, the purpose of Groupon is to make friends, not money. .with every groupon he has sold, he now has affected somebody who will not return, and will also tell ten others.

I appreciate what they are going for however it did fall short for me. I bought a hot dog and saw one price on their website and was charged a different one there. The hotdog was extremely chewy instead of having three proper snap of a Vienna beef hot dog. I ordered cheese fries and received no cheese and were not salted on my To Go order. I was really hoping this place was going to be my go to place but was let down

The food is typical bar food and I don't mean that as a negative. Tasty. The prices are very competitive and service was friendly, attentive, and timely. The bar runs the entire length of the restaurant and is welcoming. It's a smaller venue with about 15 tables poor location choice as it's right next door to an extremely popular restaurant serving similar food (and more upscale food). Lots of beers on tap. 7 TV's. Easy parking. Lunch special of 2 hotdogs with fries 10 bucks!

We really wanted this place to be good. Just not enough decent places to eat up here. However, we won't be back after two tries. Food: expecting Chicago quality dogs, Italian beef , et al and they just don't deliver. Portillos is way better, and portillos isn't even that great. The buns are dry, the peppers on Italian Beef are raw and not cooked. The sausage on the combo sandwich was the best thing we had. Service is very spotty too, even when the place is relatively empty. And the ambiance, well, there really isn't any to speak of. Sports bar attempt, with all TVs on the same thing. And to be honest, the prices are very high for what you get. The owner and his son are nice people, I'm just afraid this place isn't going to make it, just like the last five or so places in this space. Best of luck to them.

Everything was exceptional here!! From the moment I walked in and had the bartender, Sarah, greet me with a welcoming smile and hello to saying goodbye to one of the owners, Connor, as I left! Even the younger guy, Aiden, who brought my dinner out and checked to make sure I liked it was top notch!! The Italian beef sandwich I ordered at Sarah's recommendation was phenomenal! I asked her to have them make it the way she gets it and I was NOT disappointed, I'm sure it's good on it's own but her alterations made it next level delicious! I really appreciate hidden gems like this, especially with it being a father and son business! Help support good business, check them out!

Every sports bar claims to have the best wings. Few can live up to such a grand statement. CD's really shines in this area. The wing size is impressive as it is on the larger size. Six is enough as an app or go for ten as the main course. The crisp-crunch factor is perfect. Just the right assortment of sauces should please everyone. Buffalo and Honey Hot are two outstanding options. The crinkle fries are a nice bonus.Tons of tap beer choices make this a great place to watch the game. All seats have a good view which shows thoughtful planning on the part of the folks who arranged the space. If you have never had the Italian Beef sandwich at CD's, it will take you back to Chicago as will all the Vienna Hot Dogs.A taste of Chicago in Arizona. Love it!

You have to try the chicken wings. They are huge and delicious. We tried a couple of sauces. Service was attentive at the bar. We were there during happy hour. I would go again.

If you are from the Chicagoland area and you want a taste of home, this is the place. They have real deal Chicago hotdogs and Italian beef on Gonnella Bread. Did I mention the pizza puff?! The taste brought me back 20 years.

Dropped in here for lunch on Saturday. Chicago style bar that has a lot of potential to be a rowdy and fun bar. Chicago hotdogs and Italian beef sandwiches are the speciality. Wings were recommended by the bartender, and not without justification - they are great. I'll definitely be back with my Chicago friends!

Portions are small and prices are way high. Bun for the sandwich was stale and chicken was dry. DO NOT order a salad, it was worthless, small and at $11, it was offensive. It was empty on a Friday night so everyone else must already be dialed in on this spot. Bummer.
