I go to the location in midtown and love it. Passed through this one months ago and was very disappointed. Fish and establishment looked old. It just got cited for poor food handling practices and lackluster seafood.

First time here yesterday and won’t be the last. The shrimp sammy was incredible!

Went here on my birthday! Food was fresh, but I didn't expect their spice for sashimi bowl to be so spicy that I couldn't really enjoy flavors of the dish as much as I wanted to taste. Space was small between seatings. Otherwise, staff were super friendly, fresh seafood, and great food, Im definitely going back again! Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at Chula Seafood recently. The seafood was cooked to perfection and was exceptionally fresh. There was a wide selection on the menu, and the personnel was knowledgeable and kind. It was a pleasant dining experience because of the lively yet informal atmosphere. I heartily suggest Chula Seafood to everyone who enjoys seafood!

Chula has the best, and freshest seafood I have been able to find in the valley! The salmon poke was in a sauce that was amazing and flavorful. The grilled cheese with fresh lobster melted in your mouth, I think I could’ve eaten 5 of them. The staff were very friendly at their pop up event and I can’t wait to grab more fresh seafood from Chula!

Going here is always a treat. Thai peanut bowl is consistently amazing! Can’t beat the fresh seafood in the desert and the staff is always exceptionally friendly.

Awesome little seafood gem. Clam chowder is delicious if you’re having lunch… they don’t skimp on the clams.Bought their fresh farmed salmon to make for dinner. I will always prefer wild caught, but their farm raised was about as close to wild caught as I’ve found.Super friendly service too. Prices are a bit spendy, but it’s worth the money, especially when it’s not salmon season and wild caught becomes hard to find.

Chula Seafood was a delightful experience. The food was not only delicious but incredibly fresh. A must-visit for seafood lovers!

It's been a while since I've stopped in the OG location. If you've never tried the Green Tuna Chili Melt, then you ain't living. One of my favorite all time sandwiches. The chimichurri sauce is off the chart. Still trying to figure out that recipe. Service was great. #DukeOfEats

Our first visit to this restaurant - the fish in the case was magnificent and mouth watering. My husband ordered a grilled salmon platter. It was plated nicely and quite delicious.I ordered the fried fish sandwich with coleslaw and fries ( both extras)Imagine if you can, 2 pieces of heavily deep fried fish with pickles and dressing on a hamburg bun.It was held together with one visible toothpick.Since there was no way a human could navigate the humungous sandwich as presented, I removed one piece of fish. It was then that I saw the second toothpick- but, unaware that the top of the toothpick ( the curl) had broken off inside the fish.My husband was going to eat my second piece of fish, and his second bite revealed the broken part of the toothpick. Thank goodness, he didn't swallow it.We were the only remaining guests in the restaurant at closing time, and I never brought it to the server's attention. My bad.In a nutshell, the whole experience was meh.Atmosphere was clean and spare. Service was good.Oh, the prices, were on the high side for a casual restaurant where one had to go to the counter to order. The food was brought to our table.

Good at this restaurant was great. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Ordered the salmon pastrami, Sunday happy hour ceviche, chef choice large sashimi, and the smoked fish platter. We left full! Portions were good sized. We enjoyed being able to try different types of fish with different flavors.Recommendation: smoked fish platter to have different fish than just salmon.Overall, great experience and we will be back when we are in town next! Really delicious.

Absolutely do not understand the high ranking. First off, this place is expensive. I ordered 4 things, let me describe each. First was the "happy hour" salmon role. $6, 3 pieces...OK, I see the "happy hour" part. Seaweed wrap was too think and firm, rice was not cooked correctly. Pasta should be al dente not sushi rice. Sauce was strong sesame. Next up, the Chef's special Sashimi bowl. I ordered "XL". Exactly 6 pieces of Sashimi for ~$29 in a bowl with super overpowering wasabi sauce. I love wasabi, but this was over board. The fish didn't seem fresh and was not the "choicest" of selections. Same issue for the rice and other items in the bowl that were just OK. I then figured maybe I ordered the wrong things, so I ordered a to-go whitefish BLT sandwich which I got some clam chowder. Chowder was really different, I mean different in that I really didn't taste any clams. So 0-3, The whitefish BLT was probably the best thing....good but unfortunately not great. Another $22 for the sandwich and soup. Glass of wine with the $3 happy hour discount was $8. This place seemed like it had potential, but my palette tells me nope...

Chula's seafood really delivers fresh of the boat seafood to The Valley! This is our first time here even though we leave close. We ordered the Sashimi platter, Korean bowl with ahi, and clam chowder. The chowder and platter were A+, with emphasis on the platter with salmon, hiramachi, and tuna confit. The mushrooms, greens, and avocado were refreshing complements to the fresh fish. I thought the Korean Bowl was just ok in comparison to the sashimi platter, as both were the same price. The bowl was missing the gochujang, which we had to request later on, abs the greens had some wilted leaves, unfortunately. The ambiance is lacking for the price point, maybe? All in all, A+ for the fresh seafood. We will be back

Pretty good. Recommended for lunch as dinner is more quick seating and informal. This is located in a strip mall so you may miss it as the signage is super small. Overall it offers very fresh poke bowls and fish salads as well as clam chowder's and other classic fish ditches. You can also buy fish from their counter. Here You order at the counter and then they pass your food ti the table once it's done. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. There's also options for alcohol, including wine and beer if you'd like to amp it up a bit.
