I make it a point to always have dinner here whenever I travel to Scottsdale. As a female traveling alone, they always make me feel comfortable- the service is impeccable and the food is consistently outstanding. And that Bacon Fat Popcorn is to die for!!

The entrees are excellent and the portion size is perfect. The standout famous chopped salad is a must and large enough to share. The bacon popcorn snack is yummy. We have been enjoying this establishment for years and it never disappoints.

I came here for the award winning salad for a date night with my bf ... I swapped the salmon for grilled chicken. This was fridge cold with grill marks so they were definitely just using old chicken which I find pretty gross. They also used freeze dried corn instead of fresh corn. Which I couldn't stand the texture of. I honestly really debated sending the item back it was really bad. My bf got the pork shank and this also came lukewarm which I found really surprising. We got the Mac n cheese too which was pretty good. I would not recommend it at all and will not be back.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in AZ! I've tried many over the years, but Citizen Public House wins the prize! Loved the chop salad- delicious! Really enjoyed the salmon! I highly recommend!

It was so good that I just left a review on Instagram at managed_moms. Margaret was our waitress and she was excellent and she went above and beyond to make sure that we truly enjoyed our meal. Citizens Public House is my favorite restaurant anywhere - and I'm from the East Coast. I have dined here every trip to Scottsdale for 8 years and it is consistently fantastic. Great creative food, fantastic cocktails, consistently good service. Its just fantastic for those who really appreciate creative dishes and cocktails. Try the chopped salad even if you're not a salad person.

The food was very good. Everyone in our party was satisfied with their meal! Reservations are needed for dinner. Prices were in line with the overall portion size.Except for the appetizers, they were a little over priced. I definitely plan to return.

We have eaten here many times... We came this time for my wife's birthday and the food was not as good as it has been in the past. And our server was mediocre at best. We still love this restaurant and we will definitely be back. We're hoping it was just an off night.

We celebrated a big night telling my parents that my wife and I were pregnant and they were going to be grandparents. No one at the restaurant knew. But our server Margaret went above and beyond to bring my wife a non-alcoholic cider to cheers and drink with my family. She gave us lots of time to celebrate and we never felt pressured to order and were allowed to take our time and have the best night celebrating. The restaurant week menu also gave many options to try various dishes. Overall it was perfect night and highly recommend requesting Margaret as a server.
We had such an incredible experience with our private group last night. Booking was responsive and clear, the team was helpful with last minute update and special requests. Shay was the manager on staff and Tori our waitress both went above and beyond. Everyone loved every bite. Perfect experience!

We were not impressed with the wine selection ( we love Napa/yountville/ st.Helena cabs... the chopped salad was ok.... The Arizona restaurant week salmon was good ( nothing outstanding).. the wedge salad was tiny)... and the the big disappointment was the chocolate cake was as hard as a rock with zero flavor.... All three of us took one bite and would have spit it out if we had paper napkins!... and no special desert or even a happy birthday wish.

The food was excellent as always. The service was poor and not sure it was the waiters fault. Long wait time for drinks, apps, dinner and to pay. In general it seems like using the OpenTable app nets you a poor table location.
