Such a classy place to dine with the best service and food! We were greeted right away and had a nice corner table for 2. Our server was very knowledgable about the wines and menu - we enjoyed a nice Pinot with an excellent rib eye. Very lively clientele mixed between office type large parties and couples. We'll definitely go back.
The happy hour wine selection was good. I chose the Cabernet, and unlike many places that will serve a lesser quality wine, this one was excellent. My compadres and I ordered the famous Chopped Salads and were not disappointed. They lived up to the hype. We also ordered the Noble bread plate (just okay), calamari (good), and Brussels sprouts (good). The atmosphere was comfortable, convivial, and conducive to a memorable dining experience. And the service was attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this Old Town restaurant for a lovely night out.
The chopped salad is so amazing that I will probably dream about it! Chloe makes the very best drinks ever with the most genuine smile. The service is truly unparalleled! Short ribs, noble bread, and every single thing from their chef is phenomenal! Thank you Citizen Public House for being a wonderful place to bring family and friends every time!
Came here for Chefs Week and was quite impressed with the event menu. The seafood chowder is not on the standard menu but it's a winner! Food is fantastic and service is on point.
Went for Chefs week. Cocktails and service was really good. I chose the wedge salad and a little surprised it was not a wedge but rather the back soft part of the wedge. Tasted fine. The short ribs were excellent, desserts were fine, presentation was just OK. Have dined here many times a it was a good dinner experience.
Went for chef's week special. Had some old favorites & some new dishes. Definitely add the seafood chowder & the pork shank to the menu. Great cocktails as well.
The famous salad is awesome and noble bread appetizer is good. My business colleague liked their burger. Not sure if it was because we were there at end of the night but service was disappointing. Still would go back for dinner again.
It was an evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary - could not have made a better choice! The reason we went there was that during the congested Christmas celebration at the waterfront they made room for our family of five - even though we had no reservation. That evening, along with this recent visit, the staff could not have been more attentive and cheerful - which would probably indicate why everyone who was there was enjoying their choice! We were not rushed - pacing was very thoughtful, The chopped salad is certainly a signature dish - we love it! And the special Manhattan was a smooth start. We have raved to friends in the past - will continue to do so. Thanks for making a really special evening in Old Town :)
Our party started off with drinks and beer cheese fondu and olives. The beer cheese fondu was really good. Nice way to start off. 3 of our group ordered the meatloaf and I ordered the short ribs. The meatloaf portion was very generous. The short ribs were tender but the cherry sauce on the side was too sweet. We shared two desserts: chocolate torte and blueberry pudding. They were both fabulous. Sami K was our server, and she was very attentive to taking care of our requests. Only drawback is the noise level.
Great dinner with friends. Loved the Small Town Hero cocktail! Bacon popcorn and the chopped salad were great as well. The meatloaf was delicious and a large portion. Highly recommend this spot!

My friend ordered fish. It was way overcooked. $50 for fish jerky. The server turned his back and left immediately after putting down the plate, no ask if we need anything else... The busboy came and poured tap water into my glass of sparkling water. The fondue pan did not fit well on the burner stand, so it looked awkward and we were nervous about dipping stuff in there. There are too many other restaraunts in Scottsdale that are much much more interesting and better value than this place. The waitress was nice.
Had an absolutely fabulous time celebrating my 30th birthday at Citizen Public House! Was my first time there and the food, service, drinks, and ambience were top notch. Me and everyone in my group had a great time and we will definitely be back!
From the minute you walk in the door you feel Welcomed. Our server, Margaret, was amazing - giving us all kinds of recommendations and tips. We had what she suggested and she was spot on. Excellent food. Excellent service. Highly recommend.
Wonderful dinner experience. Our server was top notch and the food was all delicious! We will be back!
I can not say enough great things about this restaurant! We had delicious calamari, the best sea bass my husband has ever had, and how can a SALAD be that good?! Seriously. Hands down the best I’ve ever had! The drinks were delicious and the wait staff… above and beyond! I highly recommend! We will be back!
