Would give it 6 starts if that was an option. Mike behind the counter is the best, always friendly and the food is always great! Love this place and is my go-to for lunch when working in the Portales center!

I work in the same building and I have probably tried 90% of their menu, and their food has always been phenomenal. Their quality is unmatched. I appreciate everything Mike & Janie are doing.

As good as the food is, the service is better. The menu is excellent and the food quality is A+. They have a Starbucks inside which is great. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food they offer. I highly recommend you stop by for a bite to eat!

We are vacationing in the area and so glad we found this immaculate deli market located in a corporate complex. The omelet we ordered was perfectly fluffy with fresh ingredients. We ordered three lunch sandwiches to go and they were all delicious and half the prices and better selections compared to our hotel eateries. Owner is friendly and kind.

I have been coming to this shop for about 6 months on a daily basis. Even times when I’m not hungry I still go simply because of the amazing atmosphere and greetings I get from them. From the owners, down to cashier and back of house -every single one of them are welcoming and kind and greet me by name. The food is also amazing and very budget friendly. I’ve gotten most things on the menu and I’ve never had something I didn’t enjoy. Cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, quesadillas, salads, wraps- I’ve loved every one. If you haven’t been here I highly recommend stopping by and getting a quick bite to eat!

Dont go to his shop and buy things from him, he is a big liar. I am talking about the business owner. He first told me that he is interested in getting my services and then keep on telling me to call him after several days. When I called him for a follow up several times on his request he started saying I am bothering him. Totally sick man. He doesn't know how to deal with his customers.

My family recently visited this deli during our trip to Scottsdale and was highly impressed. ?Any family looking for a hearty meal will love it here. I tried their combo, and the salad was super crisp and fresh—hard to find these days. The sandwich I had was the Santa Fe Club, and I loved the perfect balance of turkey, bacon, and avocado with a slight kick from the chipotle sauce. The staff members were exceptionally nice and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. It does get busy during lunch, but the wait is not bad at all. It's located in the business building, so you might not notice it right away, but it's definitely a hidden gem. They even serve Starbucks coffee which is an added bonus. I wish I had this kind of deli in my town. Highly recommend this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staying at Hotel Adeline for a work retreat and walked on over to City Market Deli for a salad. Clean restaurant, friendly and quick service, and the food was exactly what I expected!

We are in Arizona from out of state and went to the mall to get out of rainy weather. We Googled best sandwich near me and this place popped up. So glad we stopped in. We had a club sandwich and club wrap. Both we spot on. It was busy lunch time for those that work in the building. Well worth the short wait for food.

Had the breakfast burrito with bacon this morning. It was mostly egg and some thin, limp bacon. It could use some potato or something in it.

Great spot, good ingredients and staff. Had the Athens wrap, I will be coming back this trip.
