What a great bar! We went to watch a Husker Football game and the vibe was just what we needed for a Husker game! So fun and such great service!!

An Irish bar that doesn’t know how to make a car bomb is just ridiculous. They served the Jameson and bialys in a small cocktail glass. We dropped the glass in, it made a mess and then trapped the Guinness under and we couldn’t drink the beer. It wouldn’t be a big deal if maybe the bartender just made a mistake, but they charged us for them. So I guess that means a they think it’s ok to make a car bomb like that.
And then, I ordered the steak. What is supposed to be a 10 ounce steak was about a 4 ounce steak it was about the size of the palm of my hand and was a 1/4 inch thick.
We had called ahead to see if they were playing the Nebraska volleyball semi finals and they said yes. We got here, it was on, and now they turned it off. They say This is a Nebraska sports bar. What sports bar that calms themselves a Nebraska sports bar does not play a Big Red semi finals game? And you shouldn’t be sporting a Cloverleaf for a logo and calling yourself an Irish bar if you don’t know how to make a Irish car bomb!

Definitely the vibe of a local pub, pretty awesome in terms of what you'd expect. Best taters tots I have ever had and I don't typically eat those. The food hit the spot, aside from the massively oily pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Great and friendly service.

Reagan (hope I’m spelling this right) is amazing and will go the extra mile (literally) to ensure Guinness is in hand and suggests the best food. Love the new Monday hangout spot:)

Hi, I'm Kurt and my husband is Trevor. For the last four years we have been regulars at Clancy's, but today we finally have had enough of their overpriced and poorly executed food....we will never eat at Clancy's again.

Folks, four years ago you could go to Clancy's and get a good, fairly priced meal. Over the last four years, management has changed three times, and each time it changes we wait for the menu to 'stabalize' and for new management to 'fix' the `kitchen; the kitchen is not fixed.

This is hard for us to write because we, as I mentioned, are regulars, but advice to anyone considering eating at Clancy's:

* Walk a little further into Old Town, so you and your family can enjoy a less expensive tasty meal. Scottsdale is full of wonderful food options. Unfortunately, Clancy's is not one of them.

Advice to Patty the owner:
* Fire the manager that is currently responsible for the food side of the operation. They have overpriced the menu, even for us a university professor and a CPA. We might have been able to get past the pricing if the food was good, but even on a good day the food is one thing ...consistently bad.

The food was just ok. This place has gone down since we began coming here. Part of the draw used to be extremely friendly management and staff. Last year it was terrible and we gave it another try. Not very impressed. Staff was friendly but no sign of management and kitchen was not great.

This place was a complete mess, understaffed, dirty, the server was all over the place with our food and drinks, brought the wrong stuff, took a really long time and the worst part the food runner was completely rude the entire time, terrible attitude, in general I wouldn’t waist my time coming into this establishment, waist of money and 20% gratuity was included, I was forced to tip this rude people on top of everything?

I would like to start this review by saying they did the best that they could. They messed up our order entirely and blamed us of it. They were EXTEMELY busy and we understood that. They messed up our appetizer and we took it in stride. We understand that ppl make mistakes when busy, so we ate the food. Then they blamed US for eating someone else’s food when we were just trying to be considerate. We are from out of state so we assumed we could take our drinks to go, which was not the case. Understandable. We tried to finish our drinks after we were not informed that we could not take them. They kicked us out afterwards and told us that it was our fault. How were we to know? We are visiting. We offered to finished the remainder in house but they did not allow it. Extremely rude and un hospitable. Would not recommend.
