The Maple House breakfast sandwich is fire 🔥🔥!! The best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Right now this place needs a few more workers and the manager let's his frustration show.

Terrible service and complete disregard for customers' time. Placed an order that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes, yet waited a full 45 minutes past the promised pickup time. When I politely asked about the status, the staff was dismissive and rude. They seemed overwhelmed and incapable of basic customer service, acting as if customers were an inconvenience rather than their reason for being in business. There are plenty of other bagel shops that can deliver both good food AND professional service - I won't be returning to this Einstein location.

We like Einstein bagels. We consistently have good food and experience. We ordered our food ahead of a busy day of running errands. We chose an Einstein we’ve never visited before in Scottsdale off shea. It was unfortunately a total 180 from what we’re accustomed to with other Einsteins. There was no point in ordering ahead if the food isn’t ready until 40 min after the pick up time. It’s took over an hour from the time we ordered to when the food to when we gave up and left without our food. No idea what was happening this morning but there’s an opportunity to review the process. We sat waiting for our food and politely asked for new expectations on when the food would be ready. A very rude woman advised it would be ready when it was ready. Where we can understand and patiently wait in circumstances where teams are short staffed. We could understand a Sunday morning rush as well. We would easily grant grace and patience because it’s not the status quo for our experience overall. We went to same women and let her know, we’d like a refund, stating we don’t know what the issue was and we were disappointed. A heavy set man interjected and said ‘well can’t imagine you’d expect anything when I’m 5 people down!’ I shared that we’d asked several times for updates on how long to wait and adjust our expectations he was frustrated and walked away. The woman working the counter wasn’t able to refund the order because order ahead is through the app. We left hungry, without a refund, and disappointed. The rudeness coupled with everything else is why we’d never recommend this location. Ever

This store when first opened was suppose to be there new look. The coffee is behind the counter. So they will give you what you ask for and refill your cup. Einstein's wanted to promote the hand made specialty coffees, this location was suppose to be making more hand made specialty drinks than any other of their stores, (as told to me by the manager to be of this location) ie that is why the run of the mill coffees are behind the counter.
Also this location probably has the fewest seats than any other location.
You might have realized I review Einstein's Bagels often.
Well, I am from New England and Jewish and grew up with bagels very often. I love bagels. When I moved to Phoenix, AZ I found a location close to where my daughter lived in Scottsdale, AZ where I stayed for 4-5 months and I went to the Einsteins near her just about every day. Then when I found an apartment I found another Einsteins close by and I can say I went there at least 5 days a week if not it was 7 days a week for 5-6 years until Covid and we all know that changed pretty much everything.
So I just about know where every Einstein's location is and have almost been to all of them except maybe 1 or 2.
The biggest problem with Einsteins now is their coffee. IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!
And they do not want to put any money into remodeling.
All though they have redone the location near me (it was so bad they basically had no choice) and it is 80% better but still has problems with a couple of their employees.
And this location being so close to Panera bread is competing with the sip club promotion.
I enjoy the Einstein's bagels so much that I went to the same location in Palm Harbor, FL for 9 years and had my coffee and bagel with the same 7-9 people every day Before I moved to Phoenix. And this location is about 2 miles from the ocean and probably able to look Hurricane Milton right in its face as it will hit the shoreline.
That is enough for now.
BUT, THE BAGELS ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came in for a small breakfast sandwich and ended up with two. I couldn't decide between the maple sausage breakfast bagel and the normal one so I said hell with it and got both. Definitely worth it.

4 front employees: 1 person at the register, 1 person making the hot bagel sandwiches, 1 person "kind of" sweeping behind the counter & 1 person hanging out talking about when she get's off work.
My order was 4 bagels to go. No slicing, toasting or toppings... just 4 bagels. I watched 2 people come into the store after I had my receipt & was waiting, make their orders for hot sandwiches, get them & leave, while I was left to stand there.
Finally, I just told the group to have someone put 4 bagels in a bag so I could leave. Took 2 of them to put 4 bagels in a bag. Think I'll stick to Frys Food for my to go bagels.

Einstein Bagels are delicious and have never ending variety to choose from. And Bakers Doz. on Mondays. The staff is always friendly and smiling dispite the pressure to meet customer demands. The store and restrooms are clean. They have a heart of gold and giving to the community as they demonstrated with smiles "yes, we would Love to give bagels to the children and staff, volentiers, teachers, security guards, leaders, tech teams and many other workers" who came to the campus early and had nothing to eat. The Bagels were a saving factor to many and we are so grateful! and Amazed how generous they were to us. for the week of our Vacation Bible School. Always we will remember your generousity and delicious Einstein Bagels. Contiue success and blessings on each of you.

First time here. With all my allergies the .manager was awesome at helping me figure something out. Above and beyond. My co worker was hungry so I always stop for everyone because I can't have much. I truly appreciate the staff here. Turkey avocado bacon on lettuce and it was very good.

I placed an order for pick up. It was ready when I got there, I was greeted and told to have a good day when grabbing my order. I got the Tasty Turkey Sandwich. It was refreshing but not as flavorful as I expected. I think it needed more shmear or something. I felt like it was just missing something that would make it tasty, like its name suggests.

I've had two experiences with Einstein. The first one is in the plaza off Shea boulevard and Scottsdale which was absolutely wonderful. They have a new breakfast sandwich bagel with Maple flavor and it was absolutely delicious. The second experience was in the airport in San Diego and I was pleasantly surprised to see five extremely hard-working young people coordinating their efforts in unison moving a big crowd quickly. I have to give it up, so if you know who these young people are, you need to give them all a raise after 40 years in the restaurant business. I can tell you they were well trained and well hired
