I had a very disappointing experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels Store #3557. The customer service was unacceptable from the moment I walked in. The lobby was full of customers waiting, yet the staff seemed completely disorganized. The girl at the front taking orders appeared overwhelmed and confused, and at one point had to leave the register to find help in the back — leaving the line unattended while customers grew increasingly frustrated.

What made matters worse was the behavior of the employee making the food. She had a noticeable attitude, spent time chitchatting in the back while orders were piling up, and seemed completely uninterested in the growing crowd. When my order was finally addressed, it was wrong — and when I politely corrected it, the girl with the slight pink hair literally threw the bagel in the trash with a visible attitude. Her body language and demeanor were unprofessional, and it was clear she had no interest in delivering decent service.

This visit left a really bad impression. A lack of urgency, poor communication, and rude behavior from staff are not acceptable — especially when customers are waiting for extended periods with no explanation. I hope management addresses these issues, because this kind of service drives people away.

Filthy store. There is very little seating in this location to begin with: a group table, a counter with only three chairs, and a low table with three chairs that looked like they found them in a dumpster. There are only two regular tables but they were both dirty, so the dumpster chairs it was. The store in general was filthy, including the condiment and coffee counter. So much so we didn't bother, eating as fast as possible to avoid staying longer than necessary. There were two employees, one taking and preparing orders, and another who acted important in spite of her unprofessional attire, but seemed to only work when something came out of the oven for her to stock. The rest of the time she stood and watched the one who was actually working. Couldn't even be bothered to bus those dirty tables. For the prices Einstein charges their service needs to be far better. Our local one isn't much better, often out of coffee until someone finally gets around to making some and not the cleanest, but at least they have seating.

The workers there have funny and inviting personalities so it made getting my food 10x better. Food was hot and delicious, my drink was make to perfection, can’t say anything bad.

I've frequented this store many times at opening (5AM) as well as late morning and lunch time. It is a busy store. It is clean at opening. However, it is tired. The chairs are really worn. Owner. Time for a face lift. This has to be a money making store.

Love, love love this place. Been to other Einstein bagels and nothing compares. The employees are fantastic, the manager Ken is very accommodating. The service is fast, and the restaurant is clean. Not to mention that the bagels are spectacular! Better than the so-called New York bagels from New York. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This is the only Einstein that we have stopped at that is constantly dirty. The chairs need to be replaced, torn seat covers, the rugs have large stains and the table tops have large scratches on them.

First and last time coming here. Total chaos inside. Not even that busy and workers not helping. Took 25 minutes for 1 sandwich. Dirty inside building also.

Great place to come with friends or family. The food is great and the customer service is excellent. They made the food and drink as soon as possible and even though for the coffe they got it wrong they didn’t make a big fuzz about it and just remade it quickly and they were very nice about it. Great place and environment.

I stopped here for a quick bite. Love the nova lox and always ask for it open faced. The girl at the counter was great. I'm giving 4 stars not five because of the man making my lox. I let them know what I wanted and was pretty clear about adding a lot of spinach and loving greens. When I opened the box however there were 3 small mushy leaves on each bagel. Why they were mushy I don't know but the girl working the back came forward apologizing and got me some fresh ones from the back. Super employee. Never ever put mushy old greens on anyone's food. Not to mention he walked away as soon as he saw me pulling them off the sandwich. Definitely weird because he seemed to be the one in charge. Also cutos to the team for taking care of the customer who fell.

I was there with a friend. I'm closer to the Frank Lloyd Wright blvd location, but I was in the area of the 90th street location.

This was on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Filthy and dirty everywhere. Only about 4 customers. There was trash on the floor, and the counter where you get your straws and napkins from was filthy. Sugar was spilled.

Also I am vegan, so I realized options for a vegan is very limited. Ice water, or a smoothie or avocado toast on a bagel, or just order a bagel with nothing on it. Unless you have peanut butter and jelly. Which is quite delicious by the way on a bagel.

Just wanted to also mention that when you don't have a lot of customers, that's a great opportunity to clean.

Nice looking store and they make a pretty good bagel...buy they don't listen when you place the order so check it out before you leave the store...

The Maple House breakfast sandwich is fire 🔥🔥!! The best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Right now this place needs a few more workers and the manager let's his frustration show.

Terrible service and complete disregard for customers' time. Placed an order that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes, yet waited a full 45 minutes past the promised pickup time. When I politely asked about the status, the staff was dismissive and rude. They seemed overwhelmed and incapable of basic customer service, acting as if customers were an inconvenience rather than their reason for being in business. There are plenty of other bagel shops that can deliver both good food AND professional service - I won't be returning to this Einstein location.
