Cornish Pasty Co Reviews
Dark & dingy. Had to use our phones to read the menu. Tables were tired & scruffy. As usual, the some of the signature pasties were unavailable. Please take them off the menu if you are not doing them anymore. We were told before we ordered, that “we are like a bakery and sometimes we run out! “ What’s happened to the Guinness pasty & several others? They are never available when I go in. Total lack lustre compared to earlier years. Staff were hit & miss and not very welcoming....read full review
I was very impressed with the unique offerings at this quaint, out of the way eatery; the menu appears to have something for just about everyone. We stopped by for lunch this week which was the first visit for both of us. The Cornish Pasty Co. offers delicious and filling Cornish pasties, as well as tasty soups, according to visitors. The restaurant mimics an old home pub vibe, and the pasties are very good, hearty, and filling. The salmon pasty is a popular choice, and the restaurant also offers several vegetarian and vegan options. While the service and value have been rated as just okay, the food and overall atmosphere of the restaurant have been positively received. The restaurant is a suitable addition to a "Grub Crawl" or a casual outing with friends. Locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix are available. Some visitors have noted a difference in service quality between lunch and dinner hours. The peppered steak and the Reuben pasties are customer favorites, and the banana desserts are a must-try. Customers appreciate the homemade quality of the food, though they note that some dishes may sell out quickly due to the made-from-scratch preparation.
