Lovely experience as always! Service and food all Top Drawer! So sorry you are closing! Darcy's will be truly missed up here at Troon North! Thank you for your years of wonderful dining experiences!

We have bern eating at Darcy's/Gianfranco for 25-30 years. It has been so consistent for all these years and yesterday it failed miserably. Some of the food was piping hot and of the food was not hot. The bruschetta historically has been outstanding and the recipe has changed it was a 10 now it's a 3. Caesar salad was great, breaded veal dishes were great, some the pastas were not hot. Here's the kicker, we sat in the dining room at the round table and all of a sudden there was a sewer odor that was strong and disgusting. No, some did not release gas, it lasted to long. I hope it's a one off. Still was disappointing. There were several wines not available from the wine list.

This is a classic "old school" Italian restaurant. Nothing pretentious about it. Tenured, attentive wait staff, excellent menu variety, and the food is excellent. Oh, and their wine list is both varied and reasonably priced. Very good bottles of wine to be had without dropping $100-200 per. Looking forward to my next visit!

Darcy's is a great neighborhood restaurant in Troon. Service is always excellent, comfort and spacing of table seating is excellent. And my favorite absolute best entre was Linguine with fresh clams in white clam sauce ... until last night. Unfortunately, their pasta chef is not longer there. The white clam sauce was always nice and garlicky, tasty and plentiful. I usually just order a half order but tonight, because I have missed this entre during the summer months, I order a full order. There was lots of pasta, sparse liquid and hardly any garlic. Our server, Gary, was excellent and was able to get all three of us extra sauce when we asked him halfway thru our dinner ... but what made it very special was gone. I understand he is new and I do hope he will read this and respond positively. We look forward to continuing visiting Darcy but may have change our choices.

Some of the best Italian food in the area. Service was impeccable. The only down side was a sewer leak smell ruining the ambiance and keeping you from even smelling the food or wine. We were led to believe that the smell is a regular occurrence in he area.

Kitchen got backed up??? We had to wait at least 30 minutes between our salad and entree. We were offered free desserts to make up for it which was a nice gesture. We brought friends there for the first time so the wait was unfortunate.

The food was delicious...a great neighborhood gem. The service was outstanding...Roberto is outstanding at what he does. It was crowded so it was a little too noisy for our liking. That said, we will be back again.

This restaurant is tucked away, off the beaten path, but is WELL worth discovering! The food has been consistently delicious, thanks to an excellent and loyal kitchen staff for the past several years (carried over from the previous ownership). The service is terrific, with an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere (think tablecloths and old world appeal) and professional, friendly wait staff. You can also dine in the lounge, with its slightly more contemporary, casual ambience -- yet with the same skillful, professional service. The menu is varied, the wine list extensive. It's a neighborhood gem, but also worth a drive to enjoy its food, charm, and casual elegance.

Following on my past review I've been thinking about how the bar is always busy but the restaurant doesn't always have similar numbers. This may sound off the wall but Ray has quite a following in the bar. Why not not change the name to Ray's place. Coming from a retired marketing guy :-)

I waited all summer for Darcy's linguine with white clam sauce to return. It is absolutely the best. Lots of sweet clams in their shell with delicious perfect garlicky sauce. My husband enjoyed the bolanese sausage pasta. We started with the antipasto salad which we always enjoy even though this time it was a bit skimpier than usual. We are so happy to have this go-to neighborhood Italian restaurant with excellent service with fine dining atmosphere.

Service was amazing! Restaurant had an odd smell, but not terrible. We got the Alfredo and chicken parmigiana and both were decent! Not the best Italian I have ever had, but pretty solid!

Great food and service. We really like this restaurant. Just one small observation. We had coffee and dessert after our meal. I asked for a coffee refill and was told there was no more coffee. It was just before 8:30pm and there were maybe six tables still dining. Closing time is posted as 9:00pm. Given the price of coffee at $5, you'd think there would be a refill option before closing time.
