I've visited this place multiple times, and it never disappoints. My favorite is the gyro beef with baba ghanoush. Both are so delicious, tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff is always friendly, and the lively atmosphere makes it even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots to eat. Highly recommend

this place is very unprofessional, lied about multiple things, cannot prove that it is halal but claims they have a certification but refused to show me. These workers started to get very aggressive and defensive and gang up on me once I very kindly walked in and had the intention to just hand the food back and call it a day. I felt very unsafe even confronting them that my family didn’t want to eat non halal food. Me and my family traveled from Michigan and we don’t know the area very well so it was very upsetting as we had to drive 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back once we read reviews and found out it wasn’t halal and wasn’t real authentic middle eastern food.

De Babel is a quick, counter-service spot with a lively atmosphere, especially on a Friday night. We ordered the Chicken Tawook dinner, which came with two sides (we chose hummus and lemon rice). The portions were very generous. The hummus was smooth and enjoyable, and the grilled red onion added a nice touch. The fries tasted fresh, was overflowing, and the pita was large.
The lemon rice was a little too tart for our taste, and the Chicken Shawarma had a good amount of filling but was heavy on the pickles. I had to remove some of the filling to enjoy it with the rice to mellow out the flavors.
Overall, great service and vibes. It was a decent meal and we’re glad we tried it. If we were local, we might go back, but as out-of-town visitors, once felt like enough.
Great quality food and service! I highly recommend the Meat Kafta, it is juicy, tender and so flavorful!! You gotta also try the Gyro, ask for it with lettuce and it'll add a great crisp to every bite. They also have great desserts. I was craving it badly on Sunday!! Wish they were open all week!!!

You will love it. Higher quality than Pita Jungle. Every sandwich was great- Chicken Tawook, Lamb, DXB, Gyro are all delicious (the Kafta is okay but it reminds me of a cheeseburger). Grape leaves are great, and the french fries are strangely awesome. Every aspect of everything we tried was top notch.
