Stopped by Diego Pops while visiting Old Scottsdale based on a recommendation from Kailey, the manager at Three Beans Cafe. We enjoyed great Happy Hour Margaritas and Tacos. We were traveling though town with relatives from Germany. In Germany, tips are automatically included with the price of the food item purchased. My brother-in-law, who attempted to compensate the server had over-tipped to the extent that the server (Miriah P) returned to the table and questioned whether the amount of the tip was intentional.....was not only impressed by Miriah's personality and customer service, but extremely inspired with her honesty and for questioning my brother-in-laws intention....Thanks Miriah for letting him adjust the accordingly! Diego Pops is lucky to have you......

Great experience at Diego pops. Really enjoyed the Brussels sprout nachos with green chilli chicken. Great combination of flavours and very filling for two hungry people. Frozen margaritas were delicious, combo of watermelon and lime cucumber was 10/10. Great service and vibes and ambiance! Would definitely return again next trip to Arizona.

This is probably one of Scottsdale hippiest & most vibrant Mexican restaurants. The service is exceptionally fast and friendly. The mode feels like a big party all around. Food is good with some seasonal add-on/twists.

Went here for a bachelorette lunch for a friend, our server Victoria was an absolute gem. She was extremely attentive, was on top of it with drinks, and even gave the bride a complimentary shot. Thank you victoria for making our experience top notch. We will definitely be back.
Thanks all the way from Wyoming :)

This is a hidden little gem. Right at the heart of old town Scottsdale. Fun and friendly environment, great food. Perfect for a couples night out. This is for the crowd that likes the home town feeling. Enjoy!

One of the best happy hours in Scottsdale that goes on till 6pm! Fun atmosphere and friendly service. The food we had was decent but not great. We only liked the chicken crunchy taco and the different variety of sauces they provide were really fun to try. Will continue to visit and try more of their menu. 👍🏻

We had such a great meal at Diego Pops. Each of us got an array of tacos and all of them were exceptional. My favorite by far was the al pastor and the green chili chicken taco. Even on a busy night, our waitress was very attentive and regularly refilling drinks. It was chilly out that evening, and she made sure the heaters stayed on and we were comfortable. Great place with great food and great service in downtown Old Town. Scottsdale.

Parking: We went on a Saturday night, and it seemed like valet was the only easy option. Option. There were probably free spots or paid self parking, but they made valet such an easy choice.

I had the street corn queso with chips for an appetizer and the fried plantain bowl for the main course. Everything was very good. The cocktail was also amazing.

Nice Mexican restaurant with fresh made to order food. The tacos are very tasty and the tamales are made very well. The margaritas are also good.

We had an excellent dinner at Diegos. The food was awesome the service was amazing. The only thing we would have preferred was the volume of the music to be lower. It was a little loud for us. We had a hard time chatting at our table. Maybe we were closer to a speaker than others.
We had the Mexican corn, chips and salsa, tamale platter, skirt steak tacos, and the tortilla soup.
The salsa had this amazing smokey flavor and even though it was too spicy for me, I wanted to keep eating it. The tortilla soup was great, the flavors were so well balanced and delicious.
The tamale platter had a bit too much garnish for my husband. He got the chicken ones and enjoyed them, but said that he could have done without the extras on top. A tamale should stand on its own. My kiddo had the skirt steak tacos and they were solid too.
