We found this little sushi place and my goodness was it ever good!! The owners were wonderful (they are the real deal!), the presentation was beautiful and the fish was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be going back next time we are in Scottsdale! Thank you!! If you’re in the area and aren’t in a rush, you need to stop here!

You know when you go to a Sushi place and your rolls come out & you're a little underwhelmed because they are so small? That is not this spot. Usually my wife & I each order 2 rolls because we've been conditioned to expect small rolls. These were big. They were beautiful. They were tasty. We didn't even finish all of them due to how big they were. I love when the price matches the quantity & quality. We'll go back the next time we're in town.We ordered the Domo, Hot Night, Alaskan, & Baked Salmon. Spicy Edamame was tasty & not super hot. My 2 little daughters split the chicken teriyaki & they brought it out on separate plates & made it look like it's own order. 5/5.

Best spicy tuna roll I’ve ever had. This man cares about the art of making sushi. Flavor, ingredients, presentation is top notch.

Entering the place, the atmosphere is very welcoming. Great vibe.We seated ourselves and were immediately presented with warm vibes and menus from our waitress. The food is absolutely unreal. This is without a shadow of a doubt the best sushi we’ve ever had in the valley. So glad we came across, and will absolutely be back.

Had a really nice time at this restaurant. The older couple working the restaurant was incredibly nice and patient (we had two small children). We ordered several sushi rolls, spicy edamame, gyoza and a couple orders of nigiri, all were really good. The miso soup was exceptional. Probably the best soup and sushi I’ve had in Arizona. The only thing I wouldn’t order again is the teriyaki chicken. Try the spicy garlic tuna roll ?

I actually wouldn't know about the quality of the food, service, or atmosphere because despite Google Maps having Domo listed as open on Sundays, I stopped in and they were closed. I tried to contact the business using their email address about this but it got kicked back to me undeliverable. My advice to this business: Update your hours on Google Maps and add them to your website. Very frustrating.

This place has the freshest sushi, great prices, and the kindest workers you’ll meet. They are truly there to share their craft and they go above and beyond.

Food was good but service was definitely lacking. We waited almost 20 minutes to even order a drink and we were only the second party in the restaurant. The longer we waited the more apparent it became that takeout is their bigger priority. When our waitress finally came to take our order she seemed almost annoyed, she was like "What do you want?" I may go there again but would only do to go if I give it another chance.

I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants and I order eel bowls about 75% of the time and I have to say this is my favorite place for this dish. The eel is toasted to perfection without too much sauce and the pickled vegetables add the perfect touch. Rice is always perfect. Love the great, caring service which is always personalized and friendly. Before the Unadon, I usually have a couple pieces of Nigiri and the freshest tuna! Sooo good! My Japanese American mom had the beef Yakitori and loved it. Enclosed patio seating is very nice and adds to a lovely evening.

Well... we gave it a shot. I am not generally one to bash servers, but this poor young lady was so out of her element that it kind of ruined our entire experience. Like... including but not limited to... didn't know the menu, didn't know how to wipe down a table, forgot items in our order, asked us if we were ready for the check twice when we were still waiting for food items. We originally planned to sit at the bar but we were placed at the end, with sushi boats stacked high and a tv inches from our head, out of reach of sushi chef. But now I'm thinking it may have been wiser.Food was actually pretty decent - spicy tuna on crispy rice (tasty - could have been bigger serving), hamachi was fresh, (out of aji), Japanese scallop nigiri was excellent actually - except the roll we got was a bit sloppy in cut and plating. Kind of a bummer we didn't find a go-to place close to home.
