Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Arizona

Service has gone downhill for the food and beverage team. The food has always been overpriced, but the entire team seems just miserable. Kid staff is super friendly, but the food service team is bad...really bad.

Felt like a bait and switch money trap. We bought the unlimited extra pass which didn't include the fun stuff like mining for rocks and bowling. The magi quest game is fun once you understand the game and tasks, which will be likely explained by a parent also there not the staff as you'd expect. In general I'd say the rock wall, mini golf and water area is mostly designed for ages 5-9. The rope course was a saving grace but only in comparison to the other dry activities. Pizza was great!!

A lot of fun for the kids and many things to do in regards to water park . Would not recommend to come here on a budget- maybe an obvious statement . This place is a money pit !! You’re better off eating else where for meals due to price! Though there is Dunkin which we did for breakfast which was reasonably priced .
Chlorine smell in water park can be really overwhelming. When we stayed there was a not a lot activities going on . For the amount of money you pay to stay , you’d think things like lockers would be free or refundable deposit , but nope $12!
The showers , water gets everywhere due to cheap shower curtain. Room was nice and clean no issues there.

Walkability: Be prepared to do a lot of walking if you’re not on the first floor.

Food and drinks: Very over priced

Not friendly for families with small children. There is only 1 microwave per floor. If you have to get up in the middle of the night to heat a bottle of milk be prepared to get up and walk a long way just to use a microwave. The TVs keep buffering too. Another big complaint is the public restrooms downstairs. Whoever they hired to do their bathrooms needs to go back to school or get some common sense. The toilet paper holders are where your knee goes so you have to sit sideways on the toilet. Then the sink splashes water all over the counter. Then the garbage can is 15 feet away from the door so you either throw the paper towels on the floor or contaminate your hands when you leave.

Was super excited to book a stay for my son's spring break with the black Friday special. Unfortunately, after booking we were informed I would be having a medical procedure that week. I tried to call and just move it one week earlier. They had the availability but the agent was incredibly condescending and rude. She told me it would be an extra $1,000.00 to move it because the black Friday sale was over.... I explained the circumstances and she left and said it wasn't her problem.... what great customer service.

We LOVE going to the great wolf lodge! We try to go about twice a yr or more. They are finished setting up for their winter wonderland so now is the time to go! They have "snow" at the nightly dance parties, little igloos you can rent out for cocoa with the Family, and a good hot breakfast buffet in the morning for a great price!

My kids loved our stay here. This place is great. The only downside is if you are sentive to air fresheners and smells, the keep this place full of scents. It's enough to give you a migraine. Other than that we loved it.

We flew cross country to Scottsdale and there was a problem with our Airbnb. Great Wolf Lodge was able to accommodate us with great room and a reasonable price. Our family had so much fun. We went to the water park, rock wall, arcade, and magic wand quest. It is an amazing hotel with friendly staff.

We came here with my kids And the first thing I noticed was the fact that the handicap button for the front door didn’t open, Luckily, a guest saw me and my daughter who’s in a wheelchair by the door and opened it for us. It wasn’t the only one that didn’t work. The elevator shut quickly, so it hit my daughter’s wheelchair going in and out. So far aside from the front door, I haven’t seen a single door in the hotel that does have a handicap accessibility. Even to the pool areas. I had to push those doors open myself and walk in backwards, not even the guy at the pool entrance helped me. We walked around and found that there were a lot of Toys for little kids, but nothing for special needs children, Had I realized they didn’t have any toys at all for special needs children I would’ve brought some of hers from home They advertise as a family place, so I assumed wrongfully on my part that that meant they include special-needs children as a part of a family. Boy was I mistaken. There isn’t a single thing in this entire place that my daughter can do. So we get to spend the next couple of nights looking at each other in a hotel room. My son is downstairs having a blast with his dad. We chose this place because he wanted to have a birthday with his family. We chose wrong.

Safety: If you’re a disabled person, don’t come here. As I said in my post, The handicap doors don’t work Most doors don’t have a handicap door So if you or your child need a wheelchair or a walker This is not gonna be the place for you.

Great experience! Came for my brothers birthday! Lost the wife’s phone and someone turned it in to security! They got the phone to us and made us unlock it which is awesome because that shows they care that it gets back to the right person!

I booked a stay, and then had to move the days by one day. Still the same length of stay, just shifted by a day. They don’t give you the option to change the reservation online, you have to call. I sat on hold for 35 minutes! Then they charged me $300 just to change the reservation by one day. Can’t wait to stay here!
