Einstein Bros. Bagels

We ordered 4 bagels through the DoorDash app at 9:53 AM, the app stated it would be ready at 10:10 AM. My husband went out to pick them up. He arrived at the store with at least 15 people waiting on orders, not including the line of people waiting to order. He understood they were busy and waited. Then after about 30 minutes past the time our order was scheduled to be ordered. He went and inquired about our order the staff member stated “we are working as fast as we can”. Again, he understood and had to ask 4 times about our order. He continued to wait, he watched multiple customers walk out and the 3 staff members were in the back the entire time. Finally at 11:48 AM he was DONE. Over 2 hours and our order was NEVER MADE. Unbelievably dissatisfied with this Einsteins location. If I could, zero stars.

The staff here is clearly doing their best, but the overwhelming number of online orders really slows down the in-person experience. During my visit, there were about 6-8 people, including myself, waiting around 15 minutes for simple orders, and they even had to hand out multiple free bagel cards. It seems they just can’t serve walk-in customers fast enough with the current setup. A system like Chipotle’s, with separate fulfillment areas for online and in-person orders, could really help improve the efficiency and overall experience.

I’d skip it unless you’re ordering on the app, or through a food delivery service.

I stopped by this location on 9/26. I showed up at 1:55 (sorry!!), not realizing they closed at 2 pm. Unlike most places I’ve been when showing up before close, the staff were all still extremely welcoming and kind. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciated their kind attitudes and humor. Thank you :)

While I usually love you guys' bagels, you're starting to skimp on the shmear. In the past, my shmear has been bordering on almost too much, which is the way I like it. What I got today was a sad amount of shmear.

Wife and I are a fan of Einstein Bros Bagels. We’re at this location every other day. The bagels and coffee are consistently good.
What drives us back most is the staff at the .6204 N Scottsdale Rd location. We love them and they treat us like family. It must be managed well as everyone seems very happy and they do their job extremely well. ❤️❤️❤️

Searching for a restaurant that will ignore you, lose your order or not follow transparent directions? Look no further! Back to back experiences where I’ve had something irritating happen, but today was the last straw. Never will i go to this location. I hope corporate decides to close this store. First time, my online order was lost. I was definitely charged for it, and employees attempted to not rectify it. Second occasion, i walked in to a slow day, and not once greeted or asked if i could be helped. employees were glued to their phones. Lastly. I ordered online, and didn’t even get my very simple order right. No shmear at all!! Someone needs to close this store or clean house

Spent my entire lunch hour waiting for my food. I just ordered a farmhouse sandwich. Took them over half an hour to make it. It wasn’t even that busy. Sandwich was as expected.
