Your bouncers denied my child entry with a valid ID showing she is over the legal age to be there and after denying her, they proceeded to give back someone else's ID entirely. Seek better help. Get better (qualified) bouncers. Good thing there's other bars who were paid for valuable service. This asinine service will be known publicly.

Security forces you to grab cash to pay them a entrance fee if you're dress code is correct and they want quick money

I've been here several times and never really had any issues—until this past Friday night. Many of the men were overly aggressive and in our faces. One man in particular (in the photo) kept grabbing women, including me and my friend.

We repeatedly told him to stop and leave us alone, even physically pushing him away. He continued to get in my friend’s face- security is watching this happen. We alerted a different security guard instead, they shook hands with the guy, smiled, and carried on with their night.
Security laughed in our faces and never followed up with us about the incident.
The security guard standing next to the man (on the left in the picture) did absolutely nothing.
It honestly felt like we were fighting for our safety in that place.

It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like security not only didn’t care—but allowed this behavior/harassment to happen. I won’t be returning to this location.

The worst staff of the Old Town clubs - Same ownership group as most of the places in the area -but this particular location lags behind all the others.

Very rude staff !! Staff was cursing at customers when people had question regarding their dress code. They yelled at the young lady.

I came to El Hefe this past weekend. I liked the music the DJ played, this included Reggeaton, Hip-Hop and R&B. The vibe of the music got the dance floor packed. I had fun.

This place is a scam the menu might say one price for a beer but the bartender will tell you whatever they want

All I’ll say is watch your drink at this place. Lots of shady nasty people here. Also waited 1+ hour to get in.

El Jefe? El Basura. For a club that supposedly prides itself on Latin beets/atmosphere, I was utterly disappointed. Another generic DJ on Friday for a YouTube playlist of American random music. Come on… 🙈 Next

Don’t go here if you’re white, you won’t be served or if you do, you’ll wait for a long time. They play nothing but Hispanic music.

They were very strict. I tripped and got kicked out - wasn’t drinking. Very upset.

Didn’t realize they serve food here. Great for a night out, always packed. Music is an interesting mix. The bartenders are snotty. Overall it you’re looking for nightlife I’d say start here. Drinks are like $12-17. Pregame before you come

I usually love this bar but tonight I paid for VIP tickets for a bar crawl that was supposed to get us in without waiting in line. The bouncer told us to go to the back of the normal line, but let other people in without waiting depending on how sexy they were. I guess i didint make the cut. This bar didn't honor the bar crawl through Bar Crawl Nations at all. Then the bar tender lost my card and kept telling me to check the bull sleeve she gave me or my pockets, meanwhile she lost my card inside the bar among the liquor bottles. I usually love this bar. Tonight it sucked.
