My party of four had a lovely dinner to celebrate a couple of birthdays at the table. I'd never before been to Evo and was pleasantly surprised. I liked the feel of the restaurant, from the decor to the music. Kayla was our server -- she was so friendly and attentive to our needs. My second time dining here and it was very good. Food was delicious, not too much garlic and the fresh pasta was fantastic. The Caesar salad was dressed perfectly though wish fresh ground pepper had been offered. When we asked for it we were instead given just small table salt and pepper shakers. Same with our entrees - would have liked to have been offered grated cheese or red pepper but our server never checked back with us. Lastly, I have trouble with an Italian restaurant...
Our hostess did not read our preference sheet and did not seem to be happy to be at work. She lacked enthusiasm and is probably not cut out for her job. Our waiter was enthusiastic, but overworked.
