I accidentally reserved a table at this restaurant for a last minute table (it was very open), cancelled immediately and was STILL charged a $60 dlls cancellation fee. Called and manager would not reimburse the cancellation fee. Any place that can't understand an error on a reservation for a day that was not even busy should be ashamed to call themselves a customer experience advocate.

Really excited to take my husband here for Father's Day dinner. Could not find a glass of red that did not taste like it had been open for a while (fortunately, asked to try first). The menu was very limited to start, one fish, one lamb , four pasta entrees. After we ordered, server came back and said they were out of the fish (we had an early/6 PM reservation) and the pasta sauce that my husband asked to have could not be adjusted to his taste, even though server said it could be made spicier. Ended up with an appetizer for my entree. When time for dessert, they were out of one of the two offerings. We then found out they were closing for three weeks and “trying to get rid of everything”. We should have been notified of this beforehand - had to put down a $15/person deposit and had I known that we were going to be eating what limited options were left in the kitchen, we would have gone somewhere else. We will not come back here again, which is disappointing as it was one of my husband's favorites.

We love exploring restaurants around Phoenix metro and looking for amazing Italian food is our favorite. Famiglia is now on the list. The food is a modern creative twist on traditional Italian and it is delicious. The halibut, lobster pasta and artichoke were all yummy! Their cannoli is better than most places we have tried. Dessert and after-dinner drinks were awesome as well. Cheers to the Chef! Well done! ❤️ If you are looking for a delightfully fresh approach to delicious Italian food- this is the place!

Overall, I'm not sure this place should be a 'reservation recommended' venue. It was almost empty when we attended. The venue is nice. Yet, it could be improved to reach the reservation-only/recommended status. The classical (un-attended) piano music was very appreciated. The nicely appointed bar was very inviting. Yet, the walls yet need to be decorated. It felt too dark with the lack of decoration. The food was very good, yet, not enough portion-wise for the price. And, the menu listing is very short. Not too many options. Bottom-line, I give great credit to this restaurant. I'll be back (just my husband and me). Not sure it's ready, yet, for larger parties. And, for the price-point and lack of ambience.

This was our first time dining at Famiglia, we came during restaurant week for date night. The venue was perfect! Great ambiance and vibe, not too loud for conversation. We sat inside since it was still hot out, but the patio looked like a great place to sit in cooler weather. Our server, Natalia, was fabulous! She was sweet and attentive and gave fabulous recommendations. I think the menu changes daily, but we had Cesar salad, roasted peach caprese, prime filet with a potato dish was was heavenly! And cannoli and tarte for dessert. Highly recommend it all!

We had dinner for restaurant week with another couple visiting from out of state. It was overall one of the best meals we've had recently. The fritto misto was a surprisingly large portion with a lovely light batter/coating. The grilled peach and mozzarella starter was light and flavorful although we wished there was more peach rather than just the few pieces that were sprinkled on the dish. The husbands ordered the filet mignon and the meat was cooked almost to medium well rather than medium rare as requested. The server was more than willing to have a new one made for both of them, but it was so tender and tasty, there was no need. We've been to nice steakhouses that have overcooked the filet where we've had to ask for a new one, so this was a surprise that it was not chewy or leathery at all. The wives ordered the halibut and both agreed it was one of the best fish dishes we've had in a long time. The portion was very generous and it was cooked such that it was super soft and tender without any of the "raw fish" texture. Both the lemon torte and cannoli desserts were delicious although we all liked the torte better as it was not very sweet but had a nice lemon flavor. We would definitely return to try their standard menu in the future.

A wonderful dining experience! The service was excellent and the food was superb. Actually, it was quiet enough to be able to carry on a conversation in the restaurant. It has a limited menu ,however , that is because they use only excellent food products that are available at the time for preparation of the meals. I would recommend it for any occasion.

Started with an amazing ambiance, the piano playing(I see why they were voted the “Most Romantic”)perfect lighting, my neighbors & I were treated to an evening to remember. I ordered the Crispy Brussels sprouts & the Truffle Pappardelle, my Italian connoisseur neighbor ordered the squid ink linguine with scallops and shrimp, and the other one ordered the Straw & Hay Bolognese. We all had the Sangiovese with our pasta. All of us were impressed with their Connolo, delicious! If you care about quality & taste, Famiglia will always deliver! They focus on customer food satisfaction, hence the carefully selective menu. Ingredients used, we the customers benefit from it. I'm glad to know that this restaurant cares about how we're going to like the food they serve. The people I take there enjoy it every time. You need to try it to believe it

What an awesome hidden gem Famiglia is! Causally elegant and classy, such a great spot for any occasion. The octopus was absolutely incredible and their freshly cooked focaccia was so yummy. The rack of lamb was amazing at every bite and cooked to perfection. You can tell the wine list was created with love and attention.
After a long day of work I was so over the moon to wander in and have such a delightful dining experience. The ambiance here is fabulous. From the moment I walked in the hostess and staff were wonderful. The owner was engaging and authentic, such a breath of fresh air.
So refreshing to find a place like this in this area. In a sea of monotonous steak houses, mediocre restaurants and cookie cutter concepts, this place takes the cake and stands apart. It is most definitely my new neighborhood fav.
My visit here reminded me that true hospitality and food made from the heart is alive and well in North Scottsdale. Their kitchen staff takes pride in their creations and it comes through in the dishes loud and clear. Famiglia is a winner people! ?

Very lovely restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. The waiter was also our bartender and part owner. Brock took his time with us and made some great recommendations and a fantastic wine pairing with our meal. The place is yet undiscovered as there were very few occupied tables...it was a Tuesday night, but this is a must do again.

We need to dine here more often. Brock waited on us and we enjoyed catching up with him because we used to dine at Aquamenti in Fountain Hills when this restaurant was there. Our food...the Halibut special and the Waygu Denver were exceptional! He often places pictures of the daily specials on Facebook. That is how I learned about the Halibut special. There is also a very good selection of wines.

service was wonderful, food was just OK, in fact a little disappointing compared to the reviews I read. Really didn't like anything I ordered. Octopus, Caesar salad and seafood linguini. But it was nice to be able to enjoy the conversations amongst us. Usually you have to fight all the noise to converse with friends. Perhaps I ordered wrong because our friends enjoyed their choices, swordfish and linguini with clams.
