I would not recommended anyone to try the ribeye steak and the 8 oz filet minion. The steak tasted like charcoal and was quite literally not edible to eat. If you come to fat ox, do not get the steak!
The menu was confusing and unclear what the price entailed like the number ounces for specific cuts of meat as well as what seasoning was on the steak cuts. The food was either overly salty or under salted, however the food did have good presentation. We had the iberico pork and way over seasoned for a very good cut of meat. The spice mixture was so overwhelming and salty, you lost the taste of the pork. The sides were slightly burnt and seemed like an after thought. The drinks were the most interesting part of the meal and frankly the only highlight. The wait times for our food was unusually long even though there were tables open. Not sure we would come back.
First time there and I can't wait to go back. Food was amazing, service was great. A must return!!
Our server was absolutely amazing that is the reason for overall 5 stars. The Wagyu Carpaccio was not as tender as you would have expected, and the portion was a bit small. The overall flavors of the carpaccio were very good. The Reserve Ribeye was excellent, cooked the way we order it and seasoned just right. The Insalata Di Casa was very good and a nice portion. The swordfish was good but, the sides it comes with were just ok and small. We enjoy dining here and sitting in the lounge area (high top table).
Service was very good. The tableside salad is a must steak and pasta amazing the scallops not great
Service was ok but very slow and we had to ask for drink refills each time. Not worth complaining about but nothing in line with the prices. Food was only ok. Lasagna no one liked, steak was good. Other entrees and apps were fine. But for the price not worth it. We won't return. Much better options elsewhere.
Wish the portions were a little bit bigger given the price. Food was very excellent. Our server was very nice. All of the waitstaff were very helpful. The octopus, meatballs, pasta, and filet mignon were so delicious. Would go back
I've never had so much salt put on prepared food before in 50 years as a food critic. Service was extremely mediocre but service attentiveness was fantastic. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to my food followers. Definitely has a lot of potential, but someone needs to taste the food before serving
Great for a date night. Friendly and attentive service. Small portions, expensive, but delicious. Recommend veal meatballs, sorpresine, short ribs, half brick grilled chicken enough for 2 people.
Absolutely fantastic venue and food! Great atmosphere, food, noise levels. Everyone was super friendly

Ceasar salad, whipped ricotta, cacio de Pepe, and the tiramisu were amazing! I'd pass on the wagyu carpaccio but everything was outstanding.
Service was outstanding. We had Brandt, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, recommendations were spot on for food and wine, and was very polite, was awesome. We ordered the Caesar salad for 2 at the table and Matthew did an incredible job...totally worth the experience. Matt L was outstanding with being polite, filing our water, bringing bread, clearing plates in a timely matter that did not disturb your eating or conversation. We were seated away from the bar area and loved our location. Would definitely return. Food was awesome and service fantastic.
Food was okay overall we started with oysters & Raw meat appetizers went onto 3 different pasta and the whole chicken dinner which was huge. A Couple cocktails and called it a night. Noise was loud and lights were overly dim so much I saw 3 people turn on phone light to see menus. Pricey overall for what it was and we don't feel a need to go back sadly.
I had a work dinner for eight people. I had never been there before, but they had great reviews on the food so I took a chance. I think what impressed me the most was the wait service. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. There was never a dirty plate or silverware that wasn't replaced almost immediately after you were done. I haven't seen that in a very long time. Very impressed!
This experience was the first cooking/pasta class led by Chef Matt and it was great! His explanations and examples were clear and understandable. Each pasta course was amazing (of course!) with wine pairings. The experience was fantastic and I hope that Chef holds more classes. 100% worth the cost. Thank you Chef!
