Great service, great spacing between courses & great ambience. Split the filet and two different pastas and will dream of this meal. Oysters also divine, come with a spicy mignonette. Highly recommend
This was the third time we've been to Fat Ox and every single time we've been, it was the best meal we've ever had. Each time we've gone, each bite we've taken, each sip of a drink and it's the best we've ever had. Service is impeccable, the perfect amount of hospitality - without being in your face or taking up your time. It's hard to believe, but I think Fat Ox is actually underrated. We only come for special occasions but we've never been let down. We're moving away from AZ but when we visit, we will absolutely plan our trip around visiting Fat Ox. 10 out of 10. And Krissy is fabulous! She's been our server each time and is always a delight.
Grilled octopus is burnt, everything else is too sweet Wine selection is bad for its price.
Another amazing dinner at Fat Ox. Started with beef tartare, steak carpaccio, crab toast, and mussels — all SO good. The Jasper cocktail (tequila, lime, smoked jalapeño, cucumber, jasmine) was fresh and yummy. For mains, we had the meatballs, the “Kussu Cresc' di Gallo” pasta with duck sausage red wine, mushroom & huckleberry, and the gnocchi with wagyu beef cheek and ricotta. The pasta dishes were perfect. Excellent food, especially the pastas, and great wine, will be back soon! — @malulovesfood
We sat on the patio. Great service, JJ was amazing. Food was extremely good, the New York strip was perfectly cooked. Dessert the tangerine tart was out of this world. Will be back for sure.
Our table side Caesar salad could have had a little more dressing, but the scallops and BISTECCA FIORENTINA, ARUGULA, PECORINO was delicious. The pasta was just warm not hot. We were disappointed with the hostess seating us by the kitchen and asked to be moved and were accommodated.
We had a lovely dinner here. All of our food was beautifully prepared. The lasagna was one of the most unique preparations I have had, as well as one of the best. It was complex, full of different textures and flavors, and overall amazing. The wine list was excellent as well. We shared gelato for dessert and it was rich and creamy. Service was very professional, kept water glasses full, and frequently checked on us. A shout out to our server, Evan!
Another great dining experience at Fat Ox. We were so glad to see the return on the table side Caesar salad. It's a can't miss. We were also very impressed with the seasonal pasta options. They were a nice change of pace and the freshness of the pasta always stand out.
I have never had a meal that everything that was served was excessively salty until this meal. Service was excessively slow, and some things were difficult to eat because of the sodium content at the end of the day we would not return.
The service was excellent she timed our meal perfectly. The octopus appetizer was the best we ever have had. The duck sausage pasta had a wonderful sauce and texture.

Took my wife here for her birthday on the 16th on Jan. Sat outside where is much quieter than inside but so nice.
My wife and I ate here on New Year’s Eve. Ordering from the New Year’s celebration pre-fixed menu of 4 selected courses for: appetizer, salad, main course and desert for $175.00 per person.
The experience started out great. The seating was perfect, the wine selected and poured, the appetizers ordered.
When served, they placed in front of us appetizers for another table. They removed them and later came back with our order. That can happen.
This same problem was repeated when we ordered and was served the Caesar salad. That wasn’t expected, and it was again an order mix up with the same table.
For the main course I ordered the Branzino and my wife the filet. Her filet was ordered medium. It was served medium well. We never saw our server until the bill was presented. He offered to make a new one, but by now the time was approaching 11:00 pm. So we declined.
Our first time at this restaurant. Maybe the New Year’s increased activity was the reason for the problems.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at The Fat Ox! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and elevated, but what truly made the night special was our waiter, JJ. He provided exceptional service: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. When he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, he surprised us with complimentary wine and a dessert, which made the evening feel extra special and thoughtful.
The food was nothing short of amazing. The dry-aged steak was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the scallops were phenomenal: easily a 10/10. Every bite was memorable.
Thank you to JJ and the entire team at The Fat Ox for making our anniversary dinner so unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Easily the worst bartenders in the valley. They’re rude, roll their eyes when you order and basically come up and stare at you expecting you to order. The girl with the long brunette hair and tattoos is easily the worst. They suck! Foods decent but not enough to warrant a return visit.
