Came here on the recommendation of a friend, new owners have taken over this old Filiberto's location and made it a neighborhood gem.

Not fancy but solid drinks, good food, good menu, great patrons and wonderful staff/owners who are extremely welcoming.

Happened to be in the area and stumbled across this amazing Mexican food spot.
Sat at the bar and we were greeted by one of the owners - she was friendly, helpful, funny & quick! We took her suggestions and went with the Quesabirras and Al Pastor Street tacos. Paired with their homemade hot sauces... absolutely delicious. Just when we thought we were full, we found ourselves ordering the fried ice cream 🤤🤤🤤
This place is easily going to be a go to spot for me even though it's nowhere near where I live!

Don’t judge this book by its cover! From the outside, Birra’s might not catch your eye—but step inside and you’re instantly transported to a cozy Rocky Point-style bar with great vibes and even better food.

I had the beef burrito enchilada style, a taco, and rice and beans—everything was flavorful, filling, and surprisingly affordable. The real star? Julia, my server and bartender, who delivered top-notch service and makes a fantastic margarita (seriously, don’t skip it).

If you're looking for a no-frills spot with authentic flavor and a laid-back feel, Birra’s is a hidden gem worth checking out.

We ordered steak, chicken came. The mild salsa was SPICY (and I’m from Texas). The rice was spicy! My kids could hardly eat anything we got. Who gives burrito size tortillas for fajitas??

An older building with seats that are held together with duct tape. But somehow it added to the overall ambience of a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant itself is incredibly clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. And the Mexican food is authentic and very tasty. And not too hot from my taste sensibilities. And the margarita was perfect
