I know taco shops because that's where I learned to cook, especially in San Diego. I've lived in Tj for 8 years and would cross the border to go to work. Lolitas, Los Panchos, Robertos, Tacos Los Gordos not to include Tijuana is right across the border. Out here it doesn't seem to compare. I bet the majority of all these Scottsdale people don't even know what a Steak Tampiquena is or Suadero. This place is a good taco shop and for the prices to portion ratio, I think it's cheaper than avg. Compared to the rest of the restaurants in Scottsdale. I had the chile relleno burrito today and it's something I typically always order at any Mexican restaurant or Taco Shop. It didn't fail. I tried the red, green, and chipotle sauces and they didn't disappoint either. Going to try the cocktail shrimp next time. It's 20 dollars is cheap compared to other Mariscos spots at 40 or 50 bucks a tarro. From what I read of other reviews, I think people just want to hate.

Steak egg and cheese burrito $16
There's literal chunks of egg shells in my burrito.

I'm not seeing an option to attach a picture like other people have, so that sucks because there's a pretty big chunk.

I arrived Monday night at 10:45pm. The hours of operation both in their window as well as online says they’re open until midnight. Light we off and not a single person in the restaurant when I arrived.

$12 for a machaca breakfast burrito that was 90% scrambled egg, 10% meat, and mostly onions with a few pepper bits. This Filibertos does not stack up. The company owned location on Talking Stick is at least a better ratio of meat to egg.

I don’t like being scammed idc if you fake like you don’t speak English !! I ordered a STEAK BREAKFAST BURRITO somehow she adds ham for $1.81 !! I brought this to her attention and she says she correct and brings someone else over who “speaks English” and everyone is acting like they don’t see the big add ham on my receipt! I don’t eat pork and it wasn’t added to the burrito thank god but I was still charged an extra 1.81 because of incompetence!! I wonder how many other scams they pull here first and last time!

2 flashing signs that the public sees from the outside says "Taco Tuesday 99 cents". I went in one Tuesday and ordered 3 beef tacos. I got $3.25 out of my pocket while she was ringing it up. She says that will be $4.75. I said no I want the 99 cents Taco Tuesday. She informed me they don't do Taco Tuesday anymore.I asked to see the manager. I showed him the signs. He said he wasn't aware of those signs. He also told me he will take that Taco Tuesday flashing signs off. A month later, the 99 cents signs are still flashing. It's obviously a pathetic scheme to get people into the store. My friends and I will never visit that store again...or any other Filiberto's store.

Hdspm 8 dollar for dads and cheese in a burrito that is not very good

What a joke of a restaurant!!!! I’ve been eating at Filiberto’s since I was a child. It was always cheaper than other restaurants and the portions were always bigger.
Things have changed!! I just spent $28 on a carne asada burrito and an order of cheese enchiladas. The portions are ridiculously small and the order was cold. On top of it the girls working there had an attitude. You’ve lost a customer forever !!!! I will never come to this or any Filiberto’s again!! Don’t waste your time or money, avoid this pathetic excuse for a restaurant people.

I ordered and paid for 5rolled tacos & horchata. Store was closing as I ordered. I drove away and found I only received 3rolled tacos. Another reminder to check my bag before exiting drive through.
