Frasher's was recommended to us by a friend. The filet was outstanding. I would highly recommend the Frasher baked potato. The melted Gruyère cheese with bacon on the potato was a unique and delicious experience. Definitely try the pecan pie and the gooey butter cake dessert. The homemade custard on each dessert was outstanding.
Very fun New Year's Eve experience! George (the owner) came and spoke with us and Lucas (our server) gave exceptional service. We felt like family. The petit filet was cooked perfectly, as was our halibut and we were treated with a lovely champagne toast before we left. Oh and the butter cake is every bit the yumminess that was promised. Such a fun way to say goodbye (finally!) to 2025.
Been in Old Town a long time and never patronized Frasher's Tavern. Went on a Sunday night in Dec. For awhile at 7:00 PM we were the only ones in the dining room with a few people in their very nice looking bar area. I'm not sure why it was that slow because the food and service were exceptional.
