Handel's Homemade Ice Cream- Hilton Village (Scottsdale)

Best ice cream I've ever had.

Great Ice cream, excellent customer service of the staff

Came in to get a Grand Central station cone, as I have been craving it for a while. Sold out. Actually sold out post-it notes on seven different flavors on their board. I asked the guy working why they were sold out of so many flavors, and he said it had just been busy. (I was the only customer in the store at the time I was there.) And then he told me that there was a guy in the back furiously trying to make them quickly, but it takes a while. Which just makes me wonder why they weren't more on top of their current stock before it ran out; seven seems like a high number to be sold out of at the same time. I've never seen even one sold out at the North Hayden location, and that store is usually mobbed. Not sure what's going on here, but definitely disappointed! 😔

Ice cream does sell out. I recommend not going super late if you’re looking for specific flavors. Other than that ice cream is yummy

A good place to cool off.

1st time at this location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ice cream is always great.

We stopped in for ice cream cones after haircuts…the young man behind the counter was super friendly, attentive and quick! He had cups and napkins out before I could even ask 👍🏻 My kids got chocolate and chocolate chip (not too adventurous)…had to get the mom tax in (I tell my kids I’m making sure it’s not poisonous 😂) - it was delicious and creamy! The portions were generous and I was a little surprised the total wasn’t more. We will definitely be back!

They scoop super inconsistent amounts. Last time I was there I left super disappointed, the guy scooped it like the revenue was coming out of his weekly allowance.

Good ice cream, employees are active participants of the gen z stare. Ask them how they are doing, they will stare at you and not saying a thing. There was active tension when asking them questions about a deal on pints. They sure talked amongst each other a lot though.

Aiden Coates is best employee ever he make everything good and need raise! The way he uses that ice cream scoop got me feeling some type of way. go see Aiden and he will get you right!

Delicious homemade ice cream! Such a variety of flavors that you don't know which one to try first... so get the 4 scoop sampler 😋 I shared a classic choc/van/straw banana split and it was fantastic! Even their plain vanilla was outstanding, and I'm typically not a vanilla person. Get to Handel's and that will let you taste something new that might be your new favorite 😍
