Handel's Homemade Ice Cream- Hilton Village (Scottsdale)

I’ve been coming to the Hilton Village location for months, and Quinn always remembers my order and has it ready with a smile. That kind of attention to detail and customer care is rare these days. I have never tasted more delicious ice cream in my life! The servings are huge, which is ideal for ice cream, the flavors are varied and totally interesting and the servers are very friendly. In fact, I want to go there right now!!

To say I’ve never felt more unappreciated as a customer and actually felt like I was interrupting their very important cleaning.

I walked in like 9:30 which is still technically open. I walk in to a half hello. They resume cleaning and my kids and I were standing there awkwardly. No acknowledgement from any of the 4 employees. The girl finally goes up to us and she seems so annoyed to be helping us and she was super rude. While getting out ice cream she tells the guy employee next to her “I’m done” to which the guy responds “you still have thirty minutes”. Um we are still right there and I thought it was in super poor taste bc I love Handels and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with them until today. That girl needs to get fired or better training lowkey bc man I would hate for anyone to feel like a burden like she made us feel. Very disappointed.

This place is never disappoints! The youngsters working there are always eager to help with samples or to take your order. At the time of our visit, the line was out the door but it didn’t take more than 15 minutes to get taken care of. The Ice Cream is always flavorful & we haven’t had a bad experience thus far! Treat yourself!
