Hearth '61 at Mountain Shadows

The spa itself is very clean, the private pool view was gorgeous. The steam room was lovely and there was no one else in there when I used it. My massage however was just okay. I got a deep tissue 60 minute massage. They pulled me 2 minutes after my appointment time (11:32) and ended exactly 1 min before (12:29) so with changing and addressing my needs it was only a 50 minute massage which was disappointing. Just overall wasn’t worth the price but amenities are nice.

Had the best experience at palo verde! From check in to checkout. My facial from Kari was incredible! Amazing staff, facility and service. 10/10.

Came here for a crystal perfume making class on my birthday. The class instructor was so sweet and well informed about the perfume making process. The spa is huge and a very clean facility. Free parking lot available. I suggest booking in advance as all their other classes such as yoga. Pasta making. Perfume and pool class fill up quickly. The classes are available for non hotel guests as well

Absolutely superlative dining experience here for brunch while staying at the hotel for business with my partner! Don was hosting and was incredibly warm with the type of customer service attitude that is next level amazing. Melissa was our server and was super attentive and willing to really go above and beyond to ensure we had a really wonderful meal! Best meal I've had in a long time with delicious food, excellent mimosas and exceptional service. :) All the food here is stellar but the banana ricotta pancakes were the true standout for us and Melissa was kind enough to offer a "half size" option so we could still get the mains we wanted while simultaneously trying the pancake! We loved the eggs and squash pasta and appreciated the variety of options!!

We were treated like royalty for our 56th anniversary last night! Denis did a great job of pampering us! Everything we put in our mouths was phenomenal! In 1966 we went to the original restaurant for our senior prom! We are definitely planning to come back again and again! Thanks for the memories!!

I spent 4 days at the Mountain Shadows Resort over the past week and was able to take advantage of the Amex credit to eat breakfast at Hearth 61' each day. The host Don was very personable and made great recommendations for activities while we were in Scottsdale. Penny our server also did a fantastic job. Everything we ordered on the brunch menu came out great and would definitley recommend this to anyone in the area! (The Banana Ricotta Pancakes were ny favorite)

I enjoyed a serene, relaxing, restorative facial and therapeutic massage each by highly skilled providers. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating. Can’t wait to return for another beautiful experience of self-love!

Great place to eat in the summertime evenings, beautiful views of Camelback Mountain beautiful views of the resort. Dennis and his crew in the kitchen as servers phenomenal catered to our every request. The food was high-quality and flavorful. Please visit this wonderful place. You will not be sorry.

Great environment, vibe, and view. This restaurant is very clean, staff are friendlyy and the food and the desert were delicious.

We had dinner and tried the dish of the day which was pot roast and chicken roulade, both were amazing.

If you want to try a desert, you cannot go wrong with Kahlua layer cake!

We’ve come here a couple of times and were impressed with both visits. The banana ricotta pancakes are delicious, we loved our iced mochas and entrees, and there’s a large menu for the kiddos too. The only downside is service on the slower side.

Our family enjoyed a delightful Mother's Day lunch at Hearth '61. It was a fun experience with family style antipasti and dessert. Both platters were nicely portioned and offered interesting varieties. Our lunch started off a bit slow with the seating even though we had a reservation, but the service and the food more than made up for a little delay on a very busy day. The food was great and the portions were generous. The creamy mashed potato that came with the New York strip was the best mashed potato ever! Our server Melissa was attentive, friendly, and personable, and definitely added to our wonderful experience!
