Sub par sushi, the rice made me sad. I recommend skipping.

Worst steak teriyaki I’ve ever had. The only good menu item was the fried rice

The moment you walk in here, you are met with a very clean restaurant with a very pleasant, chill atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was outstanding! We got two of the Special Rolls (the Phoenix and the OMG) and they were spectacular, and very fresh. We also got Miso Ramen, Takoyaki, fried shrimp and spicy edamame. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and will definitely make the drive from the northwest Valley to come back here.

Disappointed. Came in since I saw high reviews but very disappointed. Smelled of old fish and should have left after that. Sat at sushi bar and wasn’t clean, was very cluttered everywhere. Couldn’t eat the sushi rolls since it was very nasty and old fish tasting. Atmosphere wasn’t the greatest, very quiet and no music was playing. Will not come again!

We found Hokkaido no more than a month ago and have already ordered them at least 5 times for a number of reasons. First off their portion sizes! While their prices aren't the very cheapest, it's due to their proportionate to price dish sizes! I have ordered overpriced asian food and gotten a children's size portion more times than I can count in my life; but never from Hokkaido. Secondly, while we have never dined in, their customer service is apparent in the way they carefully prepare food for to-go. Our food is always correct, piping hot and the packaging is next level. Food is packaged in nice containers, sauces and soups are packaged separate so nothing gets soggy, plenty of utensils and napkins are provided, and a big one for me is that while the food is put in a paper bag, it is double bagged in a plastic bag with handles which makes it so much easier to carry home. The last point I'd like to make is that the food is delicious. We've tried a couple dishes now, we definitely have favorites, but everything we've had tasted phenomenal. Hokkaido has become the only place to order Asian cuisine for us, and as long as they keep serving we'll keep frequenting.

Great food, weird location. Seen many restaurants over the years in this location. This one should stay. Not just sushi. They have everything for every pallet. Definitely give it a shot.

Solid food. We had several tolls and nigiri. One person had Ramen and another had orange chicken. Everyone was satisfied. Prices were average to high. The thing that surprised me the most was no happy hour? That is a deal breaker as all the other sushi spots I go to have really good HH’s.

Great prices and lunch specials! It was not busy when my friend and I ate here, but the servers were very respectful and attentive. I ate a lot of asian food back in Texas, as I lived in a korean town. I would say this food was tasty.
