Chose this place for a nice birthday/anniversary dinner, the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the grilled oysters, the green beans, and the peach appetizers. For entrees it was steak frites, salmon, and the tomahawk schnitzel which was delightful. It was pricey, but we thoroughly enjoy our meal!

Great little spot my wife found from TikTok. Wasn't expecting it to be pricey given how the outside looked but it didn't disappoint. My wife got the steak frites & I got the salmon. Both 5/5. We also got the cauliflower as an appetizer & it was some of the best (if not the best) cauliflower we've had. 100% recommend. 2 entrees, 1 app, 2 beers, & 1 martini cost us around $160.

I love the casual, unstuffy vibe here! We didn’t know if we would have time to celebrate my husband’s birthday with his work schedule. But we found ourselves open this evening. No brainer- hubby likes Hush- we go to Hush!
Ladies, I was in shorts and a t-shirt. No makeup, just came from a facial. Guess what? There was no issue!!
We sat at bar and had excellent service with the bartender and staff. The food was delicious - so not your ordinary fare. We had the grilled oysters; salmon with grilled and pureed squash; and linguine, clam, camellia bean, pasta. All absolutely delicious!
This is why he takes clients/friends from out of town here. It is just that good!
(Sorry I didn’t take any other pics- was taking this for me to remember!)

This place is a hidden gem in a sea of mediocre chain restaurants typical of the area. I am still thinking about the stellar peach, arugula and stracciatella salad. I want to eat that every day. This place should be a must go on the list of every Scottsdale visitor who appreciates fresh, creative locally-sourced food. We had 4 apps and a nice reasonably priced bottle. Loved the curated menu; wanted to try it all. Service was casual and excellent.

I've been following Hush Public House on Instagram for a while and decided to try it for my sister's birthday. Tucked away in a busy strip mall in North Scottsdale, Hush Public House did not disappoint!

The cocktails were made to perfection and the food was fabulous! The pork tomahawk schnitzel with the apple butter was divine. You must try the whipped eggplant appetizer.

The service is accommodating and the atmosphere in the bar area is lively, yet cozy. I will definitely be back!

So, found Hush through Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The drinks we tried were the Tomcat, the Scottsdale Cowboy, and the Nitro martini which were all delicious. The appetizer we tried was the whipped eggplant with lamb neck and a pita and it had a mild flavor that was reminiscent of baba ganoush. For our entrees, we had the Italian beef, the Duck fried rice, and the Lamb Agnolotti. The Italian beef was unbelievably delicious as were the other entrees. We tried the chocolate Bodino and it was creamy with a mild chocolate flavor that was both subtle and decadent. We will definitely be returning to Hush even though we live an hour away!!!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! From start to finish, everything at Hush Public House Kitchen was phenomenal. The atmosphere was welcoming and elevated without feeling pretentious, and the service was warm and attentive.

What truly made the night special was that Chef Zack himself came out to check on our table — such a personal and thoughtful touch. You can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and his guests. He asked how we were enjoying everything, and let me just say… his food speaks for itself.

I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection — flavorful, tender, and exactly how I like it. Every appetizer we tried was to die for — beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You could honestly make a meal out of just the starters and leave happy. And don’t even get me started on the Old Fashioned — balanced, smooth, and expertly made.

This place is a gem. Chef Zack and his team are creating something really special. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go — you’ll be planning your return before dessert hits the table.

The food was absolutely incredible. I live in San Francisco and am very spoiled with high end dining and was very impressed with the chef, his creativity, the flavor profiles, the quality and the wine list. For as well thought out as the menu items are, the ambiance is a little low end. It's very causal the staff acted a bit like they had never worked in high end dining before. We boxed our own food at the end and our bill was almost $400 for three of us. We each had a cocktail followed by a bottle of Super Tuscan. If you're going for high-end, I would suggest keeping that consistent. Having the wait staff dress nicer, take the facial piercings out, don't have me box my own food while I'm wearing a dress and heals, create some better lighting, maybe fresh flowers etc. I will be back for sure as the chef and culinary creativity was wonderful. I also think a non-pop playlist, maybe spanish guitar, french, orchestra, classical, etc. The ambiance and music did not go with my wine and happy palette....

Every time my wife and I dine here we are blown away. Absolutely love the staples on the menu, Chicken Liver Mousse, Hush puppies and Duck friend rice in addition to the seasonal rotations. Hush Public House is a local staple of great food, cocktails and hospitality in the greater Phoenix area!

My boyfriend and I visited Hush Public House for his birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The restaurant came highly recommended by my boss, and now I completely understand why.

We were immediately intrigued by the menu—each appetizer and entree had a unique and somewhat exotic flair that made us excited (and a little curious!) about what was to come. Fortunately, we had the privilege of being guided through the evening by Chef Zach, who was not only incredibly kind and friendly, but also took the time to explain each dish. His presence really elevated the experience and helped us appreciate the complexity and thought behind every plate.

We started with the grilled carrots (a surprising favorite—especially with the yellow curry), green beans, whipped eggplant, and lamb agnolotti. For our main courses, we shared the duck fried rice and steak frites. Both were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. To end the evening, we tried the date cake, and it was the perfect sweet finish to a spectacular meal.

I would highly recommend Hush Public House to anyone who’s ready to dive into some serious, thoughtful cooking. It’s a place where every bite feels intentional and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

The good was excellent! Our experience was greatly enhanced by our server, Mikey C, during Restaurant Week. Mikey provided excellent recommendations, and his service was both patient and understanding of our group's tastes and allergies. He was not only efficient but also exceptionally courteous!
