They have great pizza slice lunch specials on weekdays - they should run those specials every day. Also great home made gelato from a relatives shop in Mesa. Patio is nice when the weather is good. Inside is a little too dark and gloomy. Food is great overall though. Lots of take out as well.

Excellent little pizza place. Really cool authentic vibe inside. Prices are very reasonable and servings are substantial. The food was all excellent. Pizza was cooked perfect and very flavorful. Calzone was huge, soft, and delicious. The Arancini was so good and like nothing I’ve had. The wine was fantastic and half off on Wednesday for the bottle. Our waiter Deangelo was the only server and bartender for the whole place and he did great. He was attentive, friendly, and very informative. I can’t wait to eat here again and try some of the other things on the menu.

Ok I went to Bianco's,Pizzacatas,Yo Paulys and Pomos to see who had the best New York Pizza. I give the award to Il Capo
I haven’t dined in but delivery/pick up has been great. I always get the margherita pizza adding pepperoni and mushrooms :) and out of all pizza I’ve had in Phoenix and most places it’s the most flavorful. Definitely recommend

Great Atmosphere ? music is always on the spot, especially Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (I think it's that bartender; ) lol) hand-made pastas with the boss sauce! So yummy - and let's not forget those guys tossing that dough high in the air so masterfully ' pizza pies come steaming out of the oven crisp to perfection ? with my favorite wine wine wine, I love it ...…mostly on Wednesday ? ? for ? can't go wrong ? ?

Ordered a couple of slices of the pizzas that had on display.
I personally was not impressed on the flavoring. Seemed a little bland to me. now, is my taste bud the same as yours, maybe not so, try it on your own. Just my opinion.
The staff was very nice so, I like that for sure.
The place has a chill atmosphere but, it was also just after lunch time and empty.
I didn't try the Gelato but, might have to go back for that, just not the pizza.
Weather is great for their outdoor seating right now.

I ordered two pizzas for delivery - a cheese pizza and a white pizza. Both were very good and reminded me of the pizza I used to get back home in NYC. Well done, Il Capo! I'll definitely be back.
