We have been at JDs several times in the past 4 days. The most outstanding observation was that we had to handle the initiation - finding a table and staff - ourselves. Once that was done, we felt a welcoming atmosphere and met friendly staff. The food was good - one night pizza, another time french fries with truffle sauce and the third time Pretzels (both, happy hour dishes) - but not outstanding. We recommend JDs but not for a real sit-down dinner, rather for a snack with friends.

The food and the drinks were both excellent at JD's, and we were there multiple times over a five day vacation. We were able to eat outside each time, which we loved. There are umbrellas at each of the seating areas, if needed. Everything was terrific, and just what we were looking for on a vacation.

Visited on Thanksgiving. I'm thankful that they were open and that I was able to watch my favorite football team play. I tried the Thanksgiving day special... mixed greens, turkey & gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, and corn bread with pecan pie and ice cream. The corn bread was extremely dry, but the other items were well prepared and delicious!.The shifted changed. ? And there went the great service. The new staff were not very attentive. They spent too much time...
