We ordered to tonight for 13 people and we didn’t get any white rice with our meals. They aren’t answering their phone either. Very disappointed. We love their food but they really messed up tonight

Joyful is our go to Chinese food place. All take out post Covid. We drive and sometimes walk to Joyful. They are figuring out the post Covid world with price increases not reflected on menus however Joyful still a good value. The hot tip is the Thai food on the menu for some variety.

This is very unprofessional. There was more notice that restaurant was not open for dining. There was no one working except for one person and there was no ac in there it was so hot. The food was awful. I'm not a picky eater, but the food smells old and disgusting. The vegetables were soggy and shrimp was drenched in sauce and had a awful smell!

I only got chicken wonton soup, but let me tell you I was highly impressed! Instead of ground up mystery meat, it was actual beautiful chunks of fresh chicken inside. Still hot after delivery and a perfect meal when feeling sick! Instantly felt better

I took a chance on the Joyful House chicken and it was amazing. I'll definitely get it again the next time I'm in the area.

Ordered from here online and when I got my food, at least 1/2 of the sauce from my prok and bok Chou had leaked out of the container, all over the bag, my clothes, and my other food, napkins & utensils. I was extremely dissatisfied with my dinner on top of that. There was not much meat and more than 3/4 of the entree was simply bok Choy.

You need to post up front if you’re no longer willing to open for dine-in! It’s been 2 years that we have been checking and you guys still closed for dine in! Not everybody wants pick up nor have their car smelling food. Put in your website and update it on Google that your place is Pick up Only! This is so disrespectful!

The food was phenomenal!! Can't say enough good things about the sweet and sour tofu, orange chicken, veggie chow mein and veggie egg rolls! Highly recommend, definitely should give the whole menu a try!

Joyful Chinese is the hidden gem of Chinese food in McCormick ranch. Even though they are closed dining since pandemic you can always count on them for Delicous authentic Chinese take out food!! My go tos are usually the hot and sour soup, wontons are so good!! And fried rice and orange chicken. Best Chinese food I've honestly found in the valley!

I am new to Scottsdale, Arizona, and looking for the great Chinese restaurant. Joyful Chinese dining had the most incredible hostess and wait person, and runner person. The food was mediocre. I like not too spicy, lots of sauce, and taste. I'll keep looking.

MSNBC Sucks!

Awful. They said 30 mins on order. Got there and waited 15 mins so 45 mins. Rice was dry and tasted like a bus tub. No sauce or anything in the bag. Use to be good. Clearly Covid paranoid there. Won’t be back rather get Panda.

So sad. Such a waste of money. I got crab puffs that aren't in a won ton wrapper. Couldn't bite nor chew them, tossed them out. Got BBQ pork appetizer. Asked for Chinese hot Mustard, ketchup and sesame seeds. It came hot, very very fatty in a sweet BBQ sauce. Two down. I also got the fried shrimp, it was fantailed with breading. Like Gordens of Gloster. I guess I thought they'd be tempura. That's three. I ate three and tossed the rest. They must serve the old food to the take out folks. The last dish was fine but all in all it was a terrible, wasteful, disappointment.

Disappointed. We've been going to Joyful for years, always enjoyed the food and service. The hot and sour soup was alway excellent. Today's version tasted like someone dumped an ashtray in the pot we called and we're told this is how hot and sour tastes We returned the soup and will likely not go back.

After a few visits I can say the food is average. However, the lemon chicken was slightly over cooked and dried out. The shrimp with lobster sauce didn't have much sauce and was overflowing with white onions. Will not order that dish again . Mongolian beef is one of the best I've had. The white and brown rice is above average in quality . Time to reopen dining room .. maybe food quality would be better versus take out
