Wonderful for lunch can't wait to go back for dinner. Small place so it fills fast. Very fresh fish and wasabi

True sushi restaurant! Not for people eating sushi to be trendy. If your into sushi with tons of sauce coated all over your fish. Not the place for you.

Ok, sushi. I'm not a fan of the purple rice, and I prefer the fish quality of Nori and Sushi Sen over Kodo.
Mango roll was the better if the two. The crazy roll was bland and I didn't like the consistency of the fish or the purple rice.

I am half Japanese, and since moving to Arizona 6 years ago, I have been searching for a really good place to eat sushi that wasn't going to coat me an arm and a leg. A friend had heard of Kodo and wanted to try it, so we went for lunch. WOW! Kodo Sushi impressed the heck put of me! The rolls are big and are filled with a lot of fresh fish and not a lot of rice. Every roll is different than the other. They have little or no "sauce" so you can taste the fish. This is how you know it's fresh! We shared 3 rolls and each had a bowl of miso soup and it was about $53. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive during the lunch rush and everyone was so nice. The restaurant is very clean. I will be returning to Kodo again and again and telling all my friends to go there!

really disappointed for a sushi restaurant with good reviews on google, the raw fish was terrible, not fresh and the fish pieces were very small. we had to pay quickly $160 for the disappointing evening and move to another sushi restaurant

My friends and I go to this restaurant all the time. Unfortunately, we are routinely skipped whenever we get in line. Parties of 8 or more are sat before other parties that are ahead of line. Tends to be a trend with one of the blonde waitresses with dark roots. This was at least the third time this has happened. I will not be coming back.

Servers routinely ignore their own waitlist. Once again went in and a party of ten, not on the waitlist, was sat before us after over thirty minutes of waiting. Very annoyed. Tonight, they lost any future service. Terrible and disappointing.

The fish was great quality. Less fish options but they treat the ones they have very well. Overall a great experience! I would prefer white rice over purple in my nigiri though.
