We loved our dining experience at Locanda in Scottsdale. We celebrated our anniversary and the food was delicious and the staff so attentive! Great experience!
Food was good but the plumbing and bathroom is disgusting. There is black mold in the bathroom toilet which makes me question the health quality of the food and water served
Passable Italian restaurant but nothing spectacular. Dishes weren't necessarily authentic Italian but more so someone's interpretation of authentic Italian. But they were tasty and overall the experience was fine.
We couldn't get a reservation anywhere near old town Scottsdale. We found this restaurant and they had availability. Overall, it was fine. The food was decent and the ambience was fine. It didn't stand out, by any means. I wouldn't hesitate to go again if I couldn't get in somewhere else, but I would probably choose something different if I had more options. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.
Had an excellent dinner at La Locanda, family-feel Italian place in old town. We enjoyed the spicy mussels, buffalo mozzarella, pasta Russo and chicken parm.
Wonderful! Kind servers and special food! Wife and I had salmon dishes and they were perfect!
Atmosphere nice and quaint but the food was bland.

I like this place. I would highly recommend it. The service was excellent. The food was excellent and the restaurant has a quaint low key atmosphere. I will be going back soon.
I started with the sausage and peppers appetizer then the salmon piccata, garlic bread, and cheesecake. All were very good and I would definitely recommend them.
The other person in my party had the Cajun Alfredo and he said it was the best he ever had.
At the risk of being repetitive, the service was incredible. Nice place. I will return.

We raved about our dinner in our car on the way home. Two of us had delicious shrimp linguini. I'm mad that my husband finished mine - wanted it for dinner tonight! Another guest loved her chicken parm. My wedge salad was good - I switched it up and had poppy seed dressing. Lots of toppings! We finished up with good tiramisu! Oh! The maple Manhattan had just the right amount of sweetness - and a marinated cherry. The service was excellent - not overbearing but there when we needed it! Can't wait to go again!

It claims to be an Italian restaurant but there are no Italians and none of the chefs I think are Spanish... the carbonara with basil and broccoli or something similar...

After a long flight we had a TERRIFIC dinner at La Locanda. I had the penne chicken pasta and my partner had fettuccine Cajun shrimp pasta, he loved how big the shrimp were.

What a delightful dining experience! This was not our first visit to La Locande as we try to have a meal there when we spend time in the Phoenix area. When we arrived and were seated we noted a group of about 14 adults and several small children which worried me but the group was modestly quiet and respectful of other diners! We had a very efficient wait staff who took time to answer questions and notice needs even before we did. Toward the end of our meal we met the owner whom we had spoken to a year or so back and he remembered us and even where we had dined. Amazing !
