Great place to eat with family or friends. Menu items are excellent & the specials add a nice variety to choose from.

My husband loved the lasagna; my son loved the special chicken melanese; I like my chicken genovese (really. more like piccatta). Tiramisu was excellent. Our bill before tip came to $138, which seems a bit expensive given that the environment of the "room" is kind of sterile (i.e., lacking in decor at all). Service was outstanding, however.

There were two waiters in the restaurant, one bean the owner who is our primary and the second who certainly did a lot for us. Service was excellent as was the food.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. What a fabulous restaurant. Service and food impeccable.

1st time, staff / service was very good. All dishes were served very hot, and tasty. Bar area needs some ambience work, but the overall experience was very positive, and we will be going back. More food than I could eat, so took a pretty big portion of pasta home. This could be a local gem that doesn't get slammed with tourists, if that's what you're looking for. Wine list is good, and reasonable pricing. Not sure if they have a corkage fee, but that would be appealing to me if they do. Bringing my wine, with their food, would be a great combo. Worth a try.

Darius & his team are entertaining & professional as they anticipate their customers needs. Food is made fresh to order with an excellent selection of boutique wines. Don’t forget try the desserts to finish off the evening.

The meal is always delicious. I ordered the sunfish and found it a bit salty. When I told our waiter, who is the owner, he immediately brought me a new piece of fish, which was perfect.

Excellent in all aspects. Super friendly and fun staff made it a great dining experience. We brought our visitors from Chicago and they loved it!

A friend of ours gave us a gift certificate, and WOW, what a gift!! This is a great local, neighborhood restaurant. Food is incredible, the ambiance is great, and Darius was awesome, making us feel at home. We will definitely be back!!!

This is our favorite restaurant for Italian food prepared beautifully and with LOVE! The specials are always special and the lasagna and fresh fish dishes are exceptional. The tiramisu is the best we have ever tasted. The service is impeccable.

My daughter and I went to La Torretta and it was amazing. Very authentic Italian food—the gnocchi is amazing. The server/owner is my kind of person—super sarcastic and funny and very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

La Toretta is an outstanding neighborhood restaurant, and I'm SO glad it's my neighborhood. The food and service are consistently very good. I've never been disappointed in any meal and can expect to be regularly delighted. Drinks and food portions are always generous. Service is perfect. Expect to be satisfied and happy every time.
