La Toretta is an outstanding neighborhood restaurant, and I'm SO glad it's my neighborhood. The food and service are consistently very good. I've never been disappointed in any meal and can expect to be regularly delighted. Drinks and food portions are always generous. Service is perfect. Expect to be satisfied and happy every time.
We had been looking for a great Italian place since moving down here. Went there for my Birthday dinner and it was fabulous. Had the special- great, had the escargot - perfect. It filled up fast around 6:15 and reminded us of a family run business in a great neighborhood. We will defiantly return.
This was our first time in and we were not disappointed. The owner Doreas was fantastic and great sense of humor. Everything he recommended was spot on and huge portions. Can't go wrong with the classics. Will definitely be back!
